It’s such a nice, gentle yet effective remover, which never stings my sensitive eyes, and it removes waterproof mascara quickly and efficiently. It’s also suitable for skin types, making it a great inclusion for the Blockbuster.
The first makeup product in the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP, is the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara, and it’s full sized in a 8ml / 0.27 fl. oz tube.
The Sumptuous Extreme Mascara is the bestselling Estee Lauder Mascara, and claims to create outrageous volume, lift and curves for an audacious, false-lash effect. Eyes look brighter, wider, more seductive.

We get the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Kissable Lip Shine Lip Gloss in two shades, each containing 2.7ml / 0.9 fl.oz of product, and they’re both full size lip glosses which is amazing.
Each of the glosses features a stunning, gold criss-cross design on the tubes, with little stars to match the pattern on the top of the train case. They look beautiful, as do the shades for the glosses themselves.

The Wicked Gleam shade is the perfect, statement red and is beautifully bright. Whereas, the Naked Truth shade is a pinky toned nude, and both shades are available in the permanent range, so if you fall in love with the shades, you’ll be able to repurchase them which is great. There’s nothing worse than liking a limited edition product, and not being able to repurchase!
This formula is said to be luminous, with sheer colour and a brilliant, boosted gleam for sculpted, perfectly kissable lips. Each of the glosses have brush applicators, which is something you don’t often see with lip glosses, but they’re both nicely pigmented, non-sticky, and super shiny on the lips, with a subtle vanilla scent.
To go with the two lip glosses, the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP includes two full-sized lipsticks in complementary shades. Just like the glosses, the packaging has had a special makeover to match the criss-cross design on the train case.
The luxurious, gold metallic casing as a red criss-cross pattern, with the same mini stars as the glosses. They look so beautiful, and I love how they match the glosses with their packaging, but the shades too.
The two lipsticks within the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP are Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks, in full size 3.5g / 0.12 oz tubes. The two beautiful shades of lipstick within the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP are;
- Carnal
- Discreet
- Both Carnal and Discreet are shades in the permanent range, just like the lip glosses. Carnal is the most beautiful orange toned red, which would complement any skintone, and it’s just stunning, especially when paired up with the Wicked Gleam Lip Gloss for the perfect festive red lip.
Discreet is a brown toned nude, and is a little deeper than the nude gloss in the Blockbuster, but they still pair beautifully. The pinkier toned gloss, does tone the brownness of the lipstick down a little, and they look pretty when worn alone, or together.
The last items in the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP, are two fabulous eye and cheek palettes. Last year’s Estee Lauder 2020 Blockbuster featured two eyeshadow palettes, and one cheek palette, but this year they’ve combined them into two eye and cheek palettes.
We have two palettes, each of which contain eight powder eyeshadows and either a bronzer or a blusher. The two compacts have the same pretty, red and gold design as the rest of the Blockbuster, and have a mirror inside the lid. The names of the two palettes are;

The Candy Glam Palette has a cool toned eyeshadow colour story, and features a Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blusher in the shade Modern Mercury, and as you can see from the swatches, all eight shadows are intensely pigmented, and the blusher is silky, smooth and radiant.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Eyeshadow & Cheek Palette – Candy Glow
The Candy Glow Palette has a warmer toned eyeshadow colour story, and features a Bronze Goddess Bronzer in the shade Medium 02. These shadows have amazing pigmentation, and they’re beautiful shades. In the palette, there looks like there’s a bright purple, but swatched (and on the lids), it’s more of a cranberry, which was a surprise as it’s a bright purple in the pan.
Here’s a comparison between the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2021 Gift Set GWP and the Estee Lauder Blockbuster 2020 Gift Set GWP. This year’s set is so much better, and the makeup products look a lot more luxurious.
I love that the criss-cross design on the train case is carried through to the packaging of the two lip glosses and two lipsticks, with such pretty shades too.
Plus, you’re getting a full sized Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum 30ml, which is worth £60 alone, so you’re paying for the other ELEVEN products, and the luxury train case for only £9 more – which is incredible.
