ELF has dropped a brand new lip and cheek product with a new ‘mousse’ formulation.
The ELF So Blurreal Lip & Cheek Whips are whipped creams with an air-whipped texture to deliver soft, buildable color for that blurred effect.
ELF describes their new lip and cheek creams are designed to give you a “blurreal” effect, by adding a diffused color for blurred lip looks and flushed cheeks.
They have a long lasting, soft-matte finish with a nourishing formula.
They really remind me of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, even down to the doefoot applicator.
Even the description sounds nostalgic, with the claim of a “just bitten” lip look, giving flashbacks to the (now retro) Revlon Just Bitten Matte Lip Stains.
Even the packaging of the ELF lip and cheek creams look similar to those, with the matte finish.
There are 8 different “soft-focus” colors:
- Oat Couture – light beige
- Rose Soufflé – pink beige
- Afterglow – coral
- Chiffon & On – bright pink
- Cinna-Cloud – brick brown
- Red Velvet – deep red
- Airy Berry – berry
- Fudge Around – dark brown
Directions
- For Lips: Sweep So Blurreal Lip & Cheek Whip onto lips & tap to blend for a blurred effect.
- For Cheeks: Dot onto cheeks with the applicator & blend with your finger for a diffused flush of colour.
- Layer & repeat to build desired intensity.
