I don’t know about you, but I’m excited about the launch of XX Revolution. The XX Revolution XXtasy Blush Palette Indulgence is just one of many, many new products that launched today, and there are so many exciting and new products.
It’s been ages since something new and exciting happened within the drugstore makeup arena, and I’m here for it.
XX Revolution XXtasy Blush Palette Indulgence
I’d choose a cream highlighter or blush over a powder formulation any day of the week. I just love how creams mesh with the skin, and look like ‘skin’ whereas powders can just sit on the skin and look very obvious.
Cream blushers and highlighters give you a natural glow, as if it’s your natural radiant complexion, and it’s amazing how a couple of dabs of cream blush/highlighter with your fingertip can make to your overall complexion.
My love for cream highlighters/bronzers/blushes is so strong, that I have a drawer in my IKEA Alex Drawers just dedicated to cream formulations, and the XX Revolution XXtasy Blush Palette Indulgence would make a fantastic addition to my collection.
The XX Revolution XXtasy Blush Palette Indulgence is £16, and contains six highlighters and blushers in a cream formula.
The palette features a beautiful pink marble design on the lid, and really does look super luxe. The pans each contain 2g of product, with a mirror in the lid.
Revolution describe these shades as having pigmented cream blush formulations that give a natural blush and radiance that melts seamlessly into skin, for healthy glow realness.
I can’t get over how pretty these shades are, and as they’re cream, they’ll be easy to blend together for a custom shade. If some of the highlighters are too deep for you, you’ll still be able to make them work as bronzers or blushes too.
It looks like the XX Revolution XXtasy Blush Palette Indulgence is one of two cream palettes, with Overload being the second, which is more bronze and deeper in tone.
This is truly a stunning palette, and at £16, it works out at £2.66 per shade which isn’t bad at all.
