Exciting news! Revolution has announced their latest collab, and it’s their XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration.
We’ve seen two other collabs recently from Team Revolution, with their Lion King and Dr Seuss collabs launching in the last few weeks, and now we have another to get excited about.

XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration
The XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration is kinda exciting as we saw ColourPop launch a collab with The Powerpuff Girls last summer, (see that collab right here).
That was a massively successful collaboration, and to be fair, ColourPop nailed it, so there’s gonna be pressure on XX Revolution to do the same.
Whenever two brands collaborate on the same property, there’s always going to be comparisons. In the ColourPop collab there were hair clips, eyeshadow sticks, bath bombs, blushers, lip masks, rollerball lip glosses and an eyeshadow palette.
“The day is saved! XX is teaming up with The Powerpuff Girls for a nostalgic collab with real powfactor!
Bringing super fierce formulas to your makeup kit with sugar, spice and everything nice!“
So, when will the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration be launching? Well, seeing as the announcement was today, I’d take a guess that it’ll be either next Friday, or the following Friday if the past collaborations are anything to go by.
It’s interesting that Revolution has chosen their XX Revolution, more luxe sister brand for this collaboration rather than say I Heart Revolution. The Powerpuff Girls are so colourful and fun, and we usually see I Heart Revolution team up for those collabs.
Thanks to an international XX Revolution stockist uploading the images early, I can give you a full reveal of every single product in the collection. It’s actually quite a small collection, with eyeshadow palettes, an eyeliner palette, some eye gel patches, and some lip glosses. Let’s take a look at the products one-by-one…
The first product in the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration is the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls XX Shadow Palette. It’s a cardboard palette, which has the inside broken up in to three sections; one of each for the three Powerpuff Girls; Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup.
“Big, Bold and Ready for Battle, The Powerpuff Girls are here to save the day! 33 Super cute and super fierce shades! Are you team Bubbles, team Blossom or team Buttercup?“
The pan shapes and layouts are all over the place, with Bubbles having rounded pans, Blossom having rectangular pans, and Buttercup has triangular pans. I’m not a fan, I have to be honest. I’m sure the quality will be great, as it is XX Revolution, and you’re getting 33 eyeshadows.
The XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration features a mini six-pan palette for each of the three girls, with a colour story to match the character’s colour. These are the mini palette, potentially the Flexx Palettes, and this is the Bubbles Palette.
Bubbles is blue, and this XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Bubbles Palette contains three matte blues, one matte white, one silver shimmer and one royal blue shimmer. The matte shades have a Bubbles design in the pans too.
Then we have the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Blossom Palette, which is pink themed to match Blossom. There’s four mattes in this palette, and two shimmers, with a peach matte, bright orange matte, bright pink matte and apricot matte, then a bright fuchsia shimmer, and a gold shimmer too.
The third mini palette in the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration is the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Buttercup Palette, which is green to match Buttercup, of course!
Inside this palette, you’re getting three matte greens, one lime shimmer, one gold shimmer, and one white shimmer. Although, the little Buttercup head embossed patterns look more like Baby Yoda than then they do Buttercup.
The most interesting product in The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration is the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Water Activated Cake Liner Palette, featuring six cake liners.
All of the pans are hard, but they can be turned into liquid liner with the addition of water, by mixing the water and the liner together. The palette is laid out in three columns, with a shade of liner to match the hair of the three characters, and then the colour of the eyes.
It’s such a cute idea, and gives a really unique colour story with yellow, orange, black, blue, pink and green shades to choose from. The set includes a special The Powerpuff Girls branded liner brush too, as well as the six pan cake liner palette.
The last makeup product in the collection is the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Lip Gloss Trio, which features three lip glosses, in squeezy plastic tubes. There’s a gloss for all three girls, with a blue, pink and green gloss in blueberry, bubblegum and apple scents, and they’re sparkly glosses too.
Lastly, we have a skincare product which feels kinda random for XX Revolution, but it’s the XX Revolution x The Powerpuff Girls Eye Patches, with 60 gel eye mask patches in a jar, giving you 30 eye mask applications.
“Power your Puff! Soothing patches to hydrate your under eyes after a long day of saving the world, with a 6 berry extract complex and a sweet berry scent.“
I will, of course, update this post as and when more information is shared on this The Powerpuff Girls Collaboration, as well as a launch date, but hopefully this product round-up is helpful to show you what to expect within the collection.
