The XX Revolution The Authority Fluffy Concealer Brush is £6 and comes in a metallic box. All of the brushes within the XX Revolution XXpert Brush Collection have blush pink, ribbed handles with an iridescent finish on them which change colours in different lights.
On each of the brushes, the name of the brush is written on the top of the handle, just under the ferrule, so you can easily tell them apart. The brushes have silver metal ferrules, and the bristles are synthetic, with a light to dark grey duo fiber design.
As soon as I saw the XX Revolution The Authority Fluffy Concealer Brush, it instantly reminded me of the Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush.
The Pat McGrath brush is £25, whereas this brush is only £6, so if it is a dupe, it’ll be amazing as the price difference is nearly £20. I don’t own the Pat McGrath version, so I can’t draw comparisons, but visually they look very similar.
The XX Revolution The Authority Fluffy Concealer Brush is marketed as being a concealer brush, but my favourite use for this brush is blending eyeshadow.
It’s nice and fluffy, but I personally prefer a denser brush for buffing in concealer. I like that this brush not only looks good, but it’s effective too, and I’ll definitely try more brushes from the XXpert Brush Collection.
