XX Revolution Quick Fixx Translucent Setting Powder

If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by all of the new XX Revolution products that have launched, the XX Revolution Quick Fixx Translucent Setting Powder would be a great starting product.

Much of the XX Revolution product range is quite glam or colourful, and you really can’t go wrong with a translucent setting powder.

As far as translucent setting powders go, they’re one of the easiest products to create as there’s no pigment involved, and I always feel like you can gauge the quality of a makeup brand, by trying a translucent setting powder.

The XX Revolution Quick Fixx Translucent Setting Powder is £10, and you get 6.5g of product. That is quite a minimal amount of product for a setting powder, but brands like Maybelline and L’Oreal also offer 6-7g of product too.

If you use a translucent powder to set your makeup everyday, or every time you wear makeup, it is the kind of product that you’ll get through quickly but Revolution do offer loose powders for baking that contain a lot more product.

The XX Revolution Quick Fixx Translucent Setting Powder comes in a graphite grey coloured compact, with a ridged design.

This ridge design features heavily across the XX Revolution product range, and it really does look super luxe for a drugstore product.

XX Revolution Quick Fixx Translucent Setting Powder

Described as being a ‘trustworthy’ setting powder, promising to be flashback free and also talc free too. There are no other claims like blurring effects, or mattifying effects which is strange for a setting powder.

Some setting powders are ridiculously shimmery or glittery, but you can see from the above broken powder pan photo, this is definitely a shimmer/glitter free powder.
