Revolution have launched a brand new Gold collection featuring the XX Revolution MetaliXX Gold Crush Eyeshadow Palette. This new gold themed collection is under the XX Revolution brand, and is the first big launch for XX Revolution since the whole sister brand launched earlier this year.
XX Revolution MetaliXX Gold Crush Eyeshadow Palette
The whole preface of XX Revolution is a collection combining skincare ingredients with makeup. Revolution are always launching new products so it did feel strange that nothing was being added to their XX Revolution brand, but they’ve certainly made up for it with this new gold collection.
The XX Revolution MetaliXX Gold Crush Eyeshadow Palette has a completely different format to any other Revolution palette which is great. Sometimes it can feel a little repetitive but the design of this palette is much more unique.
”This semi-precious palette has a spectrum of 15 richly pigmented nude, bronze and gold shades. Each unique 3D karat of colour gives luxurious colour payoff.
From shimmering metallics to neutral mattes, this palette can craft opulent standout looks to everyday masterpieces. Encased in a crushed gold foil packaging.”
It features fifteen shades within a cardboard palette, with a mirror in the lid. The two top corners of the palette has gold edging which looks like a book. Inside the palette, the shades appear to have a baked formulation, with a raised faceted design to resemble gold chunks.
With a name like XX Revolution MetaliXX Gold Crush Eyeshadow Palette, the colour story inside the palette was always going to be gold heavy.
It doesn’t appear that this palette is attempting to dupe any other palettes out there, and it does look pretty with the detailing on each of the shadows. If you like and appreciate warm tones, this palette is available right now.
