The XX Revolution Luminosity Complexxion Palette is one of two brand new face palettes XX Revolution launched as part of their Bronze Collexxion back in May. Revolution launched a collection of Complexxion Palettes as part of their original debut collection back in June 2020, and I never tried any of the original palettes, but these new palettes definitely caught my eye.

XX Revolution Luminosity Complexxion Palette
“HI – GLOW HIGHLIGHTERS.
Hi- Light your glow with our multi – dimensional baked hi-lighter trios, to give a blush of colour, highlight and bronze.“
The XX Revolution Luminosity Complexxion Palette is one of two new palettes, with there also being the Vividness Palette. XX Revolution describe this palette as being a trio of illuminating lighter shades, whereas the Vividness Palette contains a trio of illuminating warmer golden shades.
The XX Revolution Luminosity Complexxion Palette is housed within a gold, ridged metallic compact which looks as if it could be a Tripp suitcase or something. It’s pretty sleek, with a mirror inside the lid, and there’s three baked powders.
This palette is £18 / $22 which is expensive for a Revolution face palette with just three shades, but it is part of their more luxe sister brand; XX Revolution. Inside this palette, you get three x 4.5g powders which is a generous size for each powder, so whilst it is expensive, it both looks and feels luxurious, and you’re getting a decent amount of product.
The XX Revolution Luminosity Complexxion Palette includes a baked highlighter, a baked blusher and a baked bronzer. I have tried many, many Revolution face palettes, but the quality of the three powders within this palette is amazing. They’re so smooth and buttery, and some baked powders can be super glittery, but these three shades are 100% glitter-free.
They’re beautiful, and would give MAC, Becca or NARS a run for their money. They’re definitely the best baked highlighter/blush/bronzer formula Revolution has ever created, and I can’t believe no one is talking about this palette.
I feel like XX Revolution as a whole, is massively underrated out of all the many Revolution sister brands, and after being super wowed by their Cream Bronzer, I can’t wait to try more of their complexion range.
