Revolution has launched an exciting new eyeshadow palette collection today, and it’s the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection.
Revolution had been teasing the new launch on Instagram for the last couple of days, sharing videos of the outside packaging of the palettes, and then the insides, and there were a lot of comments on their reveal post. Let’s take a look at the new collection…

XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection
The XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection features eight different eyeshadow palettes, each of which contain six powder shadows in a mixture of finishes.
They’re priced at £8 each, and the six shadows in each palette contain 1.1g /0.03 oz of product per shade which is a decent amount of product compared to the likes of the Huda Beauty Mini Obsessions Palettes which I love, but they only contain 0.83g per shadow for £27.
I love the packaging on the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection as they have cardboard packaging, but with a snake skin print in lots of different colours to complement the tones inside each of the palettes.
The covers on the palettes remind me a little of the Natasha Denona 28 Palettes, with magnetic packaging, and soft feel covers.
For drugstore palettes, the packaging design is pretty cool, and the matte shades inside the palettes have an X pattern embossed into the pans, just like their XX Revolution XXpectation Shadow Palette.
Keep on reading to find out more about each palette…
The first palette within the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection is the Fallen Angel Palette, which is a blue themed palette with a bright blue cover.
This palette contains two matte shades, one satin and three shimmer shades in icy blue tones, and would be a good alternative to the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette.
The next palette in the collection is the Heartless FleXX Eyeshadow Palette, which is one of the three palettes I’ve purchased myself.
Revolution describes this palette as featuring burgundy, nudes and golds, and contains two rich mattes, and four luxury shimmers. Heartless has a tan, shiny snake print design and I love it!
The next palette is one I expect to be one of the most popular due to the amazing iridescent packaging, and it’s the Sugar Baby FleXX Palette. If you love purple shadows, you’ll love this palette as it features a beautiful selection of lilacs and purples.
This palette has a purple iridescent cover which I love as it matches my phone case, and it complements the tones inside the palette perfectly.
In this palette you get two mattes and four shimmers, and it looks like two of the shimmers could possibly be duochrome from the swatches shared by Revolution.
The next palette in the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection is one of the neutral palette lovers, and it’s the Hard Rock Flexx Palette.
This is another palette I’ve ordered for myself as I can never resist a nude palette, and this palette has plain white packaging, and contains two mattes, three shimmers and one duochrome shade which looks amazing in the swatches.
Then we have the XX Revolution Britney FleXX Eyeshadow Palette which is all about the pinks, with neon pink snake skin effect packaging.
This is one of the brightest palettes in the collection and features three matte shades, one shimmer shade, and two incredible duochrome shades.
The Needy Palette is the next palette in the collection, and it’s another pretty neutral palette with glossy beige coloured snakeskin effect packaging. This is the third palette from the collection I’ve purchased myself, and I can’t wait to share reviews of the three very soon.
This palette contains two matte shades, one satin shade, two shimmers and a beautiful duochrome pink with a golden shift. I like how neutral in tone this particular palette is, and the pink looks so pretty.
The next palette in the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection is the Billie Palette, which has to be inspired by Billie Eilish with these tones. If you love green shadows, you’re going to love this palette, and it has a neon green glossy snake print design.
Inside this green themed palette you’ll find three matte shades, and three shimmers, and the light green shimmer on the second row looks like it could possibly a foil finish from the swatches.
Then we have the very last palette in the eight piece XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection, and it’s the Dynamite Palette. This is such a beautiful warm toned palette, and it has amazing yellow and green duochrome iridescent packaging.
Inside this palette you’ll find just one matte shade, one satin, one shimmer and two incredible duochrome shades which are the last two shades on the bottom row, just look at that gold!
So that’s the XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palette Collection. There’s a palette for everyone, and the packaging is just so fun and unique for a drugstore palette collection.
I can’t wait to share reviews of the three XX Revolution Flexx Eyeshadow Palettes I bought, and you can purchase the whole new palette collection right here.
