It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since XX Revolution launched, and the XX Revolution Dynamite FleXX Shadow Palette is just one of their most recent launches. It’s hard to keep up with all of the Revolution launches, but whenever there’s a new Revolution Pro or XX Revolution launch, I’m instantly excited.

XX Revolution Dynamite FleXX Shadow Palette
We’ve seen a lot of new XX Revolution launches in the last few weeks, and this palette launched as part of an eight palette collection, and I bought four of the palettes on offer. In addition to the FleXX collection, we saw the Bronze Collexxion too as well as XX Revolution Soap Stixx Brow Pen, and that’s just in the last couple of weeks alone.
“Flexx your creativity with 6 bold colour combos. Hella pigmented matte + shimmer shadows with endless creative potential.”
The XX Revolution Dynamite FleXX Shadow Palette is one of eight palettes, and each of the palettes are £8 / $10. All of the FleXX Shadow Palettes contain six shades, which vary in terms of finish with a mix of matte, shimmer, satin, metallic and duochrome finishes across the eight different palettes.
What makes the palettes different, is that each of the eight eyeshadow palettes have cardboard packaging, but they each have a different cover design to complement the colour story inside the palette.
All of the covers have either a crocodile or snake skin print effect to the cardboard, and the XX Revolution Dynamite FleXX Shadow Palette caught my eye as it has the most amazing, green and gold duochrome iridescent cover. It looks incredible, and it changes colour in the light too.
In terms of colour stories, the XX Revolution Dynamite FleXX Shadow Palette has a very warm toned colour story, with shades to complement the colour of the iridescent cover.
You get a matte bright orange matte, shimmery peach, a matte deep orange with gold sparkle, a duochrome pink with an orange shift, a deep gold metallic and a duochrome peach with a gold shift.
I love the packaging of this palette so much, but the quality of these six shades aren’t on par with the quality of the shadows within the XX Revolution XXpectation Shadow Palette which is a little disappointing.
They’re certainly not bad shadows, but the quality of the XXpectation Palette is amazing. However, I can say that the quality is better in the other palettes I have from the FleXX Collection, and I’ll be sure to share my reviews of them very soon.
