This week saw the launch of the XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum, as part of a whole XX Revolution Cloud collection. All of the products have amazingly ethereal boxes, with clouds and holographic accents, and I have bought a few things from the new collection myself.

XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum
Revolution has a lot of primers within their range, and I’m always up for trying primers. Primers are one of my favourite makeup products to try, as they can make such a massive difference to how your makeup applies and looks.
“Lightweight + hydrating priming elixxir to give a dewy, moisturised base complexxion, with added iridescent sparkle for an all over lit-from-within glow.”
There aren’t many claims for the XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum, but it’s said to contain marshmallow extract to moisturise and soothe and edelweiss extract, also known as flower of purity, offering anti-oxidant properties too.
The XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum is £12 and contains 30ml / 1.01 fl. oz. of product within a clear glass rectangular bottle.
The bottle comes with a glass pipette dispenser, and whilst there are zero directions on the Revolution website, one would assume this serum primer hybrid is applied as your last step after your skincare, before you apply your makeup as your primer.
In the bottle, you can see the XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum has a pretty, shimmery iridescent shift.
Then you pipette dispense a few drops to apply to your bare skin, to impart luminosity as well as a hydration boost.
I can imagine you could even blend it with your foundation for a more intense luminous effect on the skin.
The XX Revolution Cloud Elixxir Dew Serum sounds like a lovely serum primer hybrid, and it’s available right now.
