If you love trying new primers, the XX Revolution Cloud Complexxion Soft Touch Primer is just one of the new launches from the new Revolution sister brand; XX Revolution.
The XX Revolution brand was supposed to launch in March, but everything had to get pushed back due to the global crisis.
XX Revolution Cloud Complexxion Soft Touch Primer
In a nutshell, XX Revolution is a new luxe sister brand for Revolution, where the products combine skincare ingredients with makeup ingredients. The prices are all much higher compared to the likes of Revolution Pro and Revolution’s products.
The XX Revolution Cloud Complexxion Soft Touch Primer is £15, and contains 24ml of product within a beautiful frosted glass jar, and a iridescent effect lid.
The packaging is amazing, with an ethereal pastel cloud design on the box, and the jar looks super pretty too.
The XX Revolution Cloud Complexxion Primer is described as being a dream for blurred and brightened skin. Revolution say that it’s “basically a filter in a jar”.
“If you want something that instantly blurs pores and illuminates complexions, then this is ya gal.
The texture is sorbet like and super soft to touch (it’s called Cloud Complexxion for a reason) and gives you an insanely silky, blurred finish with a subtle, iridescent radiance.” – Revolution
AQUA (WATER, EAU), PENTYLENE GLYCOL, GLYCERIN, ISONONYL ISONONANOATE, NEOPENTYL GLYCOLDIHEPTANOATE, HYDROLYZED YEAST PROTEIN, SODIUM CARBOMER, PHENOXYETHANOL, MICA, SILICA, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, ACRYLAMIDE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE COPOLYMER,ISOHEXADECANE, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), POLYSORBATE 80, SORBITAN OLEATE, TIN OXIDE, LINALOOL, COUMARIN, TOCOPHEROL, CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).
I really like the sound of the XX Revolution Cloud Complexxion Soft Touch Primer. It is expensive as you’re only getting 24ml for £15, but the packaging is really lovely so it’s understandable why the price is elevated.
I don’t know this primer will compare to other Revolution primers, but the description has definitely got me interested in giving it a go.
