April saw the launch of the XX Revolution Cloud Collection, and the XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint is just one of the products within the eleven-piece collection.
XX Revolution is Makeup Revolution‘s luxe sister brand, which combines skincare and makeup, and the Cloud collection features marshmallow extract and edelweiss extract.

XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint
The XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint is available in four different shades, and they’re £8 each. I love the packaging on every single XX Revolution product, as everything has iridescent or holographic packaging, and these cheek and lip tints are no different.
The XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint is packaged within a round, frosted glass jar with a white screw-on lid, and on the lid there’s a sticker of pastel clouds with a holographic XX Revolution logo.
“Cloud Blush. Cheek + Lip Tint. Sunset dreamin’ with these super creamy and soft to touch blush + lip tints. Blendable formula gives a soft-focus natural and glow.”
The XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint is available in the following four shades;
As soon as I saw the photos of the Cloud Blushers, they instantly reminded me of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Blushers. Everyone used to berate the foundation, but I used to actually really like the blushers.
So I was excited to try the XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint to see how the formula compared to the old style Maybelline matte mousse blushers.
I chose the shade Soft Focus which is the lightest shade of the four shades, and it’s the prettiest pastel peach. It’s so perfect for pale skin like mine, as it’s very sheer due to the mousse formula, but it imparts a subtle flush of colour.
It works perfectly as a blusher, but it doesn’t work very well on the lips as a lip tint, as the whipped mousse formula doesn’t set or dry down.
It moves around whenever you press your lips together, and leaves the lips looking a little uneven, but I bought the XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint to use as a blush anyway. I think it’s such a great blush, and it takes seconds to apply.
I really like that you can’t go OTT with it, and it has almost a foolproof formula, as you can easily blend it out, even if you did apply a little too much.
Due to how much I enjoy the XX Revolution Cloud Blush & Lip Tint in Soft Focus, I’m planning on purchasing Wave and Cirrus next, as they also look like shades I’d get a lot of wear from.
