This year has been all about the beauty collabs, with Wet n Wild launching a SpongeBob SquarePants collection back in April. We’ve seen many other collaborations this year from other brands too, like Bratz, Prince, Cruella, Hello Kitty, WandaVision and a whole lot more. If you’d like the full low-down on the Saved By The Bell Wet N Wild collection, keep on reading…
The Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration is a little different and unexpected for Wet n Wild. They’ve done a Saved By The Bell collection before, back in 2012, with themed nail polishes for the main characters, so it’s interesting that they’ve chosen to do a round two of the Saved By The Bell Makeup Collection.
”It’s Alright, ‘cause Wet n Wild and Saved By The Bell are igniting an Old Skool Bromance for the ages! This spirited collection is major SQUAD GOALS!”
The Wet And Wild Saved By The Bell has been revealed as being an ULTA exclusive, and is now available on the ULTA website, and will also be available inside ULTA stores too. It’s a strange collection, as Wet n Wild have done no build-up on the Saved By The Bell Makeup collection whatsoever.
They just launched the Wet N Wild Makeup collection on the ULTA website, so there’s been no hype or build-up. I think this might be down to the SpongeBob SquarePants collection selling out in minutes after a lot of build-up.
The brand was then hounded daily on every Instagram post asking for restocks, but it doesn’t make sense to me to pay a lot of money for a licence to do a collab, and then not announce it before it’s launched.
There are a lot of products within the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration;
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Zack Attack Live Performing At The Max Brush Set $14.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Wanna Wrestle? Setting Spray $7.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Squad Goals Shadow Palette $14.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Bayside Beauties Plumping Lip Kits x 3 $6,99 each
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Home Of The Tigers Kabuki Brush $8.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell #RelationshipGoals Glow Face Duo $6.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell It’s Alright Glow Face Duo $6.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Nerd Alert Glow Face Duo $6.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Bayside Cheerleading Mascara $7.99
- Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Makeup Bag $9.99
Each of the above products are now available individually, but you’re also going to be able to purchase the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration Vault for $69.99, which contains the entire collection in a locker style presentation box which is pretty cute.
The first product within the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration is the Squad Goals Shadow Palette $14.99, which features fifteen shades within a bright red acrylic palette, within a clear lid.
“Wet n Wild’s curated set of gorgeous pigments in the Squad Goals Eyeshadow Palette go together perfectly, just like your friends in Saved By The Bell. Featuring 15 hyper-pigmented shades, these blendable pigments are stage-ready in no-time and are sure to be your ”friends forever”.“
Inside the palette, there appears to be a mix of powder shadows and also pressed glitters, which is similar to the shadow palette within the SpongeBob SquarePants collection too. I like the attention to detail with this palette, with there being cute embossed patterns on some of the pans.
Next up is the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Zack Attack Live Performing at the Max Makeup Brush Set which is $14.99., which is a three piece makeup brush set featuring brushes for both the face and eyes.
“Relive the ’90s with this Wet n Wild Zack Attack Live Performing at the Max Makeup Brush Set, styled after the iconic look of Zack’s phone in Saved By The Bell. Featuring 2 eyeshadow brushes and a fan-shaped highlighting brush, they pick up pigment quickly and easily for seamless coverage.“
In the SpongeBob SquarePants collection, there were two setting sprays, and the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration appears to have at least one spray with a yellow bottle and one of the characters on the front. This product isn’t currently on the ULTA website, but it should appear soon alongside the rest of the collection.
The Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration also includes three different Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Lip Kits, with a kit themed around the three main female cast members (Kelly, Jessie and Lisa).
There’s a lip liner in each kit, as well as a lip gloss, and they’re each $6.99 which is pretty affordable for a lip kit set.
“Take your lips to The Max with this Bayside Beauties Plumping Lip Gloss and Lip Liner Kit from Wet n Wild! Line your lips, make them shine, and then pucker up just like your favorite girlfriends.”
Just like the SpongeBob collection, the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration features a kabuki brush, and it’s the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration Home Of The Tigers Kabuki Brush which is $8.99.
“Show that Bayside spirit with help of this round Home of the Tigers Kabuki Brush from Wet n Wild made to look like the iconic cheerleader pompoms from Saved By The Bell. Provides superior powder pickup and seamless coverage, so you can bring the pep to the pep rally.“
Next up in the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Collaboration are three powder face duos themed around different couples within the show (Zack + Kelly / Jessie + Slater / Lisa + Screech).
On each of the two powders within the compacts, there’s a speech bubble with a saying, and they’re all $6.99 each.
“Pack up your makeup and brushes in this convenient Saved by the Bell Makeup Bag from Wet n Wild inspired by the Bayside Tigers duffle bags from Saved By The Bell. This medium sized makeup bag is large enough to fit all your beauty essentials, while still staying compact enough to travel with you.“
The last piece within the collection is a mascara; the Wet n Wild x Saved By The Bell Bayside Cheerleading Mascara which is $7.99. Featuring a chunky, white plastic tube and a curved, synthetic bristled wand.
“Get your Bayside pride on with this ultra-preppy and volumizing Bayside Cheerleading Mascara from Wet n Wild. Formulated with a nourishing blend of Coconut and Sunflower Seed Oils, this mascara provides instant hydration and silky-looking lashes.“
