Wet n Wild have dropped their latest collection, and it’s the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection. The last Wet n Wild collection was their SpongeBob SquarePants collection, which was extremely popular, and whilst this collection isn’t as exciting as a licensed collaboration, it’s a beautiful sweet treat themed collection, and keep on reading to find out more.
Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection
The Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection includes four capsule collections, and for each of the collections there’s five different products for the face, eyes and lips.
Within the collection there’s a range themed around cherries, chocolate, honey and passionfruit, and the packaging looks so cute on everything.
As soon as I saw this Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection, I instantly got ColourPop vibes, and I do wonder whether it was ColourPop they got their inspiration from.
The first product within the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection are the 9 Pan Eyeshadow Palettes, which are $4.99 each, and are hyper-pigmented shades in a mix of buttery-soft mattes, sparkly shimmers, gleaming satins, and self-adhering multi-dimensional glitters.
Described as being blendable colours which glide on seamlessly as the micro-fine, ultra-reflective pearl pigments illuminate the skin for jaw-dropping colour effects.
First up is the Wet n Wild My Cherry Amour Pigment Palette, and features a cute cherry design on the lid, and contains pinks, pinky reds, some peaches and a dark burgundy too. This palette reminds me of the brand new ColourPop Cherry Crush Palette, with a very similar colour story.
The second palette in the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection is In Love With Cocoa, which is a chocolate themed palette with a mix of warm tones and neutral tones, and looks like a pretty neutral palette.
The Bee Mine Honey Palette is next, with a honey themed palette, with some pretty golds and light champagnes, and it looks like a muted version of the Morphe 9U Catch The Sun Palette.
Lastly in the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection is the Passion Session Palette, themed around passion fruit. This is a more colourful palette with pinks, golds, purples, an orange and green. The colour story doesn’t scream passionfruit to me, but if you like colourful shadows, you might like this one.
Next in the collection are a range of cheek duos, again, with a duo for all four collections within the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection.
Each of the cheek duos contain a mix of either highlighters, blushers or bronzers, depending on the fruit/food theme, and they’re $4.99 each, with 10g / 0.35oz of product in colour co-ordinated plastic compacts.
The My Cherry Amour Face Palette looks to contain a peach matte blusher, and a deep berry matte blusher, and it’s a really pretty duo.
Next up is the In Love With Cocoa Face Palette, which has a matte cream highlighter shade and also a warm deep brown matte bronzer, which reminds me of their MegaGlo Highlighting Palette, except this one has a chocolate scent.
Then we have the Bee My Honey Face Palette, which appears to be a highlighter palette with a shimmery yellow gold highlighter, and also a shimmery peach highlighter.
The fourth and final face duo within the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection, is the passionfruit themed Passion Session Face Palette.
This palette has a light champagne shimmery highlighter, and a peachy pink highlighter duo, which again doesn’t give me passionfruit vibes, and more dragon fruit.
The next products within the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection, are four different scented facial mists. These facial mists contain 45ml / 1.52 fl.oz, and they’re $4.99 each, too.
Lastly in the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection is the Passion Session Face Primer Serum, which, like the others, is passion fruit scented with a sheer purple tint.
Overall, it’s a very cute collection, and I like that everything is scented to match the different fruits/sweet treats. I think my favourite would have to be the Honey or Chocolate collection, but everything is so affordable, and it’s available right now.
