Westman Atelier announced their biggest launch they’ve ever done, coming our way on 22nd of August; Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops are said to be an exciting makeup and skincare hybrid.
The brand had been teasing ahead of the launch, on their social media account. If you’d like to find out more about this brand new complexion launch, see swatches, and read my thoughts on this new makeup launch, please continue to read on…
What Are The Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops?
The Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops are $68, and are designed to give you the ultimate dewy finish. Helping you to smooth your pores, soothe any redness, whilst blending effortlessly into the skin.
Westman Atelier are a luxury makeup brand, with decadent packaging and impressive formulas. So, it’s always exciting to see a makeup brand venture into the skincare world. I have been waiting for Westman Atelier to expand their product lines, so I’m excited to see what comes next in their range extensions.
- Apply the complexion drops after your last step of your regular skincare routine and as the first step of your makeup routine.
- Shake the bottle well before use, to ensure the formula has been thoroughly blended.
- Dispense the complexion drops onto your fingertips and blend onto skin as you would a moisturizer or serum.
The owner of Westman Atelier’s inspiration behind the product, was to create something that’d give you the dewy look you get after having a facial, but with ingredients which work with the skin, rather than sitting on top.
I love how my skin looks after a facial, as the skin is left so plump, healthy and glowing. So, the idea of a product which we can use to give us that same effect to the skin, but in the comfort of our own home is very intriguing.
What Are The Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops Key Ingredients?
- Ginseng Extract – Brightens, revitalizes, soothes
- Pomegranate Extract – Neutralizes free radicals, supports healthy-looking skin
- Sunflower and Almond Oil Blend – Nourishes, soothes, strengthens skin
- Tsubaki Oil – Firms, hydrates, retexturizes
- Urban Shield Complex – Protects against pollution and blue light
- Ginger Root Complex – Calms and soothes instantly and overtime.
Westman Atelier describe the complexion launch as providing instant hydration, with breathable light-to-medium coverage. There are 16 shades to choose from, and the shade range will be extended by a further 4 shades in December.
“This skin tint is designed to work with your skin, not over it. Complexion-boosting drops quickly hydrate, visibly even tone, and smooth while improving bare skin quality. Packed with potent skincare, each drop glides on like a lightweight oil and transforms into a cushiony serum for lasting, facial-fresh radiance.“
I know sixteen shades isn’t as inclusive as other brands, but the fact the brand has mentioned the shade extensions towards the end of the year, is admirable.
As some brands will only launch a limited shade range, and never choose to extend that range in the future. The four extra shades will take the shade range up to 20 shades, and that’s a lot more inclusive than other brands with similar skincare/makeup hybrids.

I have to be honest, I do think the shade names are a little confusing. Especially with the mix of Roman numerals, and numbers. I think the names would have been better in numbers or names, so it’d be easier to try and find your shade match. It’s a different method of naming the shades, though, I admit.
Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops have been formulated with skin-loving ingredients like pomegranate extract and tsubaki oil. With ginseng extract and ginger root complex offering soothing, protection against free radicals, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Described to glide on to the skin like a lightweight oil, transforming into a cushiony serum for a radiant and dewy finish. The packaging is beautiful, with a nude coloured, plastic bottle, and it’ll be available right here.
