Wayne Goss has announced not one, but three new products! The Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation is launching alongside the Wayne Goss The Poreless Beauty Puff, and also the Wayne Goss The Weightless Powder, as part of his brand new complexion collection.
Wayne had been teasing the upcoming launch of a foundation for some time, and now it’s finally here, and looking at the comments on Wayne’s reveal YouTube video, people are excited about the launch. Keep on reading to find out more…
Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation
The Wayne Goss Cosmetics The Luxury Cream Foundation has a natural satin finish, and Wayne recommends using a very emollient moisturiser underneath, should you want a more dewy finish.
Whereas using a matte primer, or matte moisturiser underneath, will give you more of a matte finish to the foundation. Used without a primer or moisturiser underneath, the foundation will have a natural satin finish.
Like the name suggests, the Wayne Goss Cosmetics The Luxury Cream Foundation is a cream foundation, and is housed within a clear frosted plastic jar with a silver chrome lid. It looks very chic and luxurious, and complements the rest of Wayne’s brand.
The Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation is available in twelve different shades, and the shades are numbered 1 to 12.
It’s not the best shade range in all honesty, with one shade for dark skin, and one for fair. Four of the middle shades (6, 7, 8 and 9) look almost identical on Wayne’s arm.
Wayne did mention that the entire makeup brand is self-funded, so Wayne is paying for everything from the packaging to the testing of the product. Wayne said he couldn’t afford to do more than twelve shades, but he says “hopefully, if it goes well, more shades will be added”.
It’s a cream based foundation, with what Wayne describes as having a ‘high pigment load’ with just under 30% pigment, meaning you’re getting full coverage, but Wayne says it can be used ‘sheer’ depending on the layers on the skin.
The Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation will work for all ages, and Wayne said that, that was important to him, and he said you should get the most beautiful finish. Shade 9 is Wayne’s shade, and he showed himself applying the foundation in the video.
Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation contains 30g / 1 oz of product, which is a decent amount of product for a cream foundation. In the video, Wayne used his brand new Wayne Goss The Poreless Beauty Puff to apply the foundation.
The puff is white, with a black satin ribbon, which slides over your fingers, so you can apply the product with the puff. It’s described as being a double sided applicator, with side one being a ‘beautiful velour’ side, which is slightly more textured than side two.
Side two has a smoother side, so you can choose which side of the puff you want to use, for the product you’re applying, and the finish you want. Wayne prefers to use the smoother side for foundation, and then use the slightly more textured side for setting his base with powder.
The Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation really is very pigmented, with Wayne only needing a small amount of product on the puff, and it looks high coverage when applied to the skin. Wayne said the high-pigment formula can also be used as a concealer too.
In addition to the Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation, and the puff, we also have The Weightless Powder, which contains 25g / 0.88 oz of product, with similar packaging to the foundation, with a clear frosted plastic jar, and a silver chrome lid.
Wayne describes the powder as being completely and utterly weightless, with it feeling like “complete air” according to Wayne. It’s a translucent powder with no pigment and no talc, meaning it’ll work for all skin tones.
It sets to a matte finish, and won’t change the colour of your foundation. It’s described as being ultra fine, and Wayne commented on how everything sits in lines and wrinkles, and there’s no way around that.
The Wayne Goss The Luxury Cream Foundation is designed to smooth the skin, cover the skin and still look like skin. With the powder being recommended alongside the foundation to prevent it from creasing. We don’t have a launch date yet, but you can find the foundation on Beautylish right here.
