Wayne Goss is on a massive roll right now, what with the launch of his Wayne Goss The Lip Collection which recently launched, and now we have the new Wayne Goss The Artist Collection which is very exciting, with three limited edition brand new brushes.
This new Wayne Goss The Artist Collection was inspired by a limited edition brush Wayne released previously called the Artist Brush, and Wayne decided he wanted to create a whole collection themed around that one brush.
Wayne announced his amazing lip collection on the 1st of May, and today he officially revealed his newest launch; the Wayne Goss The Artist Collection, with three beautiful makeup brushes; the Large, the Medium and the Small – which will be $175 in a set of three. You can also purchase them individually for $58.
Wayne Goss The Artist Collection
Wayne Goss first started his beauty range with his incredible makeup brushes, which have a massive cult following. Whenever Wayne launches a new brush, it gets everyone exciting so the new Wayne Goss The Artist Collection is going to be extremely hyped.
The three brushes within the Wayne Goss The Artist Collection, each feature a beautiful design and shape, and with a pointed tip that’s been cut to allow you to do the most beautiful work on your face with your makeup.
These three brushes are all face brushes, and they all feel like silk. Wayne says that each brush can be used in a variety of ways, and they are ‘probably’ the softest brushes he’s ever made.
They feel like silk, and feel like air on the skin.
Wayne Goss The Artist Collection – The Large Brush
The Large Brush is designed to be used with any form of face powder – powder the face, bronze the face, to blush, to highlight, anything at all that uses powder within your makeup routine.
Wayne has designed the shape so it’s large and perfect for the face, for covering large areas quickly and evenly.
The sculpted point on this Large Brush means you can do sculpting blushing, or bronzer.
The bristles are shaped in a way that the bristles are gently splayed, allowing the bristles to blend your powder into the skin for a flawless finish.
The lighter your hand, the pointier the brush, but the firmer you are, the more splayed the bristles become, allowing you to customise your application.
Wayne Goss The Artist Collection – The Medium Brush
The Medium Brush has a very strong, defined point to the bristles. Wayne said ‘think of this for more intricate work’ so you can use it to set your makeup under your eyes with setting powder, knock off any excess powder on the face.
You can also use it for a very strong contour, if you like a more sculpted and defined look to your face.
Wayne also recommends it for those that like a more elongated eye look, by sweeping away from the inner corner of the eyelid.
Wayne says the brush head is around the size of an eye, and is good for highlighting the cheek bones too.
Wayne Goss The Artist Collection – The Small Brush
The Wayne Goss The Artist Collection – The Small Brush is the third and final brush within the collection, and as the name suggests, is the smallest brush too.
It has been designed to have a very sharp tip to the brush head, so you can use it for any eyeshadow work at all, allowing you to be precise with defined crease work, but also for diffusing larger areas depending on how much pressure you apply when using the brush.
It is also the perfect brush for highlighting down the bridge of your nose, because it is so precise and fine. Plus for contouring the edges of your nose too.
Wayne also recommends the Wayne Goss The Artist Collection – The Small Brush to be used for micro-fine highlighting on the face too.
Plus you can use this brush with some loose translucent powder to set or diffuse any eyeshadows on the eyes, to help everything blend and mesh together for the perfect blend.
Wayne announced the Wayne Goss The Artist Collection officially this evening at 6pm BST (10am PST) on his YouTube channel, and you can sign up to a waiting list right here, on the Beautylish website.
This new beautiful artisan brush collection features the most stunning dark wooden handles, with three new brushes – which Wayne has said is his all time favourite brush collection he’s ever launched.
The brushes each have a tiny bit of string on the end of the handles, so you can hang them up if you wish to, but they have a seriously luxe artisan vibe, and Wayne says they offer everything he’d ever need for the application of face and eye makeup.
