W7 Tokyo Collection

W7 has launched a brand new collection, and it’s a little different to their average collection. The W7 Tokyo Collection carries a Tokyo theme, in time for this summer’s Olympics, which are being held in Tokyo. If you’d like to find out more, keep on reading….

W7 Tokyo Collection

W7 are always launching new products, and I don’t often feature their products on Makeup Muddle due to bad customer service I’ve experienced personally. However, I thought the W7 Tokyo Collection was interesting enough that it was worth featuring.

All of the products in the collection have a pretty cherry blossom design on them, as well as Mount Fuji. It’s so different to anything we’ve seen from W7 before, and the collection isn’t trying to dupe another brand, which I guess is why I thought it was more appealing as a collection.

The first product in the W7 Tokyo Collection is the W7 Tokyo Pressed Pigment Palette, which features eighteen shades as well a dual-ended eyeshadow brush. The shades look very pretty, and are all Japan themed. It reminds me of a pastel version of the Mikayla x Glamlite Palette, and it’s a pretty colour story.

Next up is the W7 Tokyo Rice Powder, which is unique for W7 as a brand. I don’t believe they’ve ever launched a rice powder before. Tatcha has a rice powder which is very expensive, but I don’t know if the W7 version is trying to be a dupe, but it’s an interesting loose powder.

The next product in the W7 Tokyo Collection is the W7 Tokyo 6 Piece Makeup Brush Set, which is supposedly green tea powder infused.

I’m not entirely sure how the whole green tea powder infusion works, or helps makeup brushes, but it’s supposedly there. This brush set includes three face brushes and three eyes brushes, all with white handles and green bristles.

The last items, within the W7 Tokyo Collection, are five lip glosses. The W7 Tokyo Lip Gloss collection have clear plastic tubes, with white lids featuring the cascading cherry blossom design on them, which looks really pretty.

The five shades in the collection are; Sakura, Skytree, Temple, Hachiko and Sensu, and there’s a couple of nudes, one coral, one red and one bright pink. It’s a cute collection overall, and will be available very soon.
