If you like the Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows, but don’t like spending £24 for just one shade, W7 have released a very promising dupe. The W7 #OTT Magic Metals Glitter And Glam Toppers are a range of nine liquid glitter eyeshadows, which will set you back just £4.95 per shade, and they’re available right now!
Everyone is launching liquid glitter eyeshadows, and eyeshadow toppers now. Stila were definitely the first of its kind, but it’s great that budget brands are creating similar formulas, so we don’t have to splurge to be able to try liquid glitter shadows out.
It looks like these eyeshadows launched back in October, and usually whenever W7 launch something new, you see the product/s all over social media.
The W7 #OTT Magic Metals Glitter And Glam Toppers are divided into two separate formulas; #OTT Magic Metals Glitter And Glam Toppers and #OTT Metal Madness Glitter and Glam Toppers.
There are five shades of the Magic Metals Glitter and Glam formula; Minted, Sunshine Daze, Sneak Pink, Purple Prism and Out of the Blue and then four shades of the #OTT Metal Madness Glitter and Glam formula;Top Dollar, Taupe Notch, Top Priority and Top of the Line.
The #OTT Magic Metals appear to have more of a duochrome, iridescent eyeshadow topper effect and the #OTT Metal Madness appears to be more akin to the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows with a coloured base, saturated with glitter for an opaque finish on the eyes.
Although it’s all a bit confusing as both formulas have different names, but the same product description, and the description (shown below) is most definitely just for the Magic Metals – as they’re the formula that have an iridescent finish with no glitter.

Although the descriptions aren’t particularly clear, and the W7 website doesn’t have individual shade descriptions, both formulas do look very pretty and well worth a try for just £4.95 each.
Whereas every beauty brand is launching glitter eyeshadows, the iridescent finish of the Magic Metals range look a lot more unique, and from the swatches above on the W7 Facebook group, they look different to anything else within the drugstore right now.
I am considering buying a couple of shades from both formulas to see how they compare, and see if they are in fact dupes for the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows.
