The Viseart Petits Fours Praline Eyeshadow Palette launched back in November, as part of the Viseart Petits Fours Palette collection. There are four palettes within the collection, and they were a new collection of miniature palettes, with each palette containing just four shadow shades.

Viseart Petits Fours Praline Eyeshadow Palette
“Introducing the Petits Fours eyeshadow collection! Inspired by dainty pastry delicacies, these miniature treats feature mouthwatering-mattes perfectly paired with sparkling sugary shades within four scrumptious eyeshadow quads!
Expertly crafted and baked to perfection, these charming color-stories create delightfully decadent eye-catching confections! Each magnetized miniature morsel is encased within brand new shimmering, bite-sized petite packaging.“
When I first started blogging almost nine years ago, the Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes were talked about often, but it was their expensive pro palettes which each contain twelve shades, and the pans are large, within a basic clear lidded compact.
I never bought any of those larger, more expensive palettes, as they’re $80 / £69, and it’s a lot to pay to try a brand’s eyeshadow formula. So the Viseart Petits Fours Eyeshadow Palettes are perfect, as they’re considerably smaller, but they still contain a decent amount of product for only £20 / $22 each.
The four different Viseart Petits Fours Eyeshadow Palettes contain four square eyeshadow pans, and all four palettes have a different colour story, with cardboard packaging coloured to match the shades inside.
There’s no mirror within the palettes, and whilst the cardboard does have a soft touch to it, they aren’t the most robust cardboard palettes I own. The pans are designed, so you can remove them from the packaging if you wanted to.
Viseart describe their Praline Palette as being a chic confection of almond caramel and cream shades. Inside the palette, you get the following shades;
- Sucré – Warm brown with a shimmer finish
- Caramélisé – Warm champagne with a shimmer finish
- Praline – Antiqued gold with a shimmer finish
- Pecan – Sienna brown with a matte finish
All four shades within the Viseart Petits Fours Praline Eyeshadow Palette are beautiful, with beautiful quality. They’re soft, pigmented and easy to blend.
It’s the perfect neutral palette in my opinion, and I like that the only matte shade is a deeper brown, as it complements the three shimmer shades perfectly.
Sucré and Praline do look very similar to each other on the eyes, so I do wish there was a little more difference between the two, but I love the palette, and will share my reviews of the other three palettes from the Viseart Petits Fours collection very soon.
