The Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum is a perfume I’ve repurchased twice so far, but I’ve never actually got round to reviewing, which is so unlike me.
I reviewed the Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Spring Summer fragrance from 2017, and various interpretations of the Flowerbomb perfume, but never the original Bonbon, and it’s such a favourite of mine, I knew I needed to finally give it a whole post.

Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum
“Unwrap the pink bow off the luxurious Viktor and Rolf Bonbon perfume to treat yourself to Bonbon’s indulgent flavours and spoil yourself with its rich aromas. This floriental fragrance for her is distinguished by its unique and addictive caramel heart. Try to resist if you can.
This indulgent and sweet perfume opens with fruity top notes of Mandarin, Orange, and Blackcurrant, which develop into heart notes of Jasmine, Orange Blossom and sumptuous Caramel.
Almost tempting enough to eat, the delicious Caramel notes mature from an intense initial impression to a softer and more delicate heart. Woody base notes of Cedarwood, Guaiac Wood, Sandalwood, and Amber leave a luxurious trail.“
The Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum is available in four different sizes; 20ml, 30ml, 50ml and 90ml. I love all of the Viktor & Rolf fragrance bottle designs, as they’re always so beautiful.
However, Viktor and Rolf Bonbon has to be my favourite of theirs, with the bottle being shaped like a wrapped up bonbon in a berry pink hue. It almost looks like a bow, with the iconic Victor and Rolf logo ‘pin’ around the neck.
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum Notes
- Top Notes: Mandarin, Orange, Blackcurrant
- Heart Notes: Peach, Jasmine, Orange Blossom
- Base Notes: Cedarwood, Guaiac wood, Caramel
With a name like Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Eau de Parfum, it was always going to be a sweet scent, but the best way I can describe Bonbon is it being a more grown up, more sophisticated Juicy Couture sweet scent.
I love many of the Juicy Couture fragrances, but they are all very sweet, and can feel quite young. Whereas, I feel like Bonbon features warm woody notes like amber, sandalwood and cedar give it an interesting edge.
It’s definitely a sweet, caramel heavy fragrance, but it’s not cloying in the slightest. I find that it wears well on the skin, with it lasts for at least four to five hours, and I always feel good whenever I wear it.
