Urban Decay have been very quiet during 2020 so far, but they’re catching up with their exciting launches. The Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara has been revealed as their newest mascara, but they have also just launched the Urban Decay Naked Ultraviolet Eyeshadow Palette which has been very popular already.
Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara
The Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara is designed to be an intensely volumizing mascara with an asymmetrical brush that lengthens, lifts, and curls lashes for a dramatic, wide-eyed look. This exciting new ultra-pigmented, flakeproof mascara creates volume and visible length for the boldest lashes.
The asymmetrical brush was designed to load every eyelash with the max amount of formula for extreme volume and definition. The tip defines and separates even the tiniest of individual lashes, while the curved side adds lift at the lash root. The intensely black long-wear formula lasts for hours.
The Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara has now officially launched right here at QVC, which is very exciting. It was originally launched at the Liverpool Mexico department store, and also on the Flaconi website. It has now launched on the Urban Decay website here too.
Urban Decay were my favourite beauty brand for years, but their launches over the last few years have been a little lacklustre compared to old style Urban Decay, but I feel like this could be the year when Urban Decay go back to their roots.
Urban Decay have had multiple mascaras over the years, with their Troublemaker Mascara being their most recent mascara launch.
Use the asymmetrical bristle side to coat every lash with mascara for instant volume and definition. Use the budding tip of the brush for extra definition by separating and coating individual lashes, and also for coating bottom lashes. Flip the brush and press the curved side against the lash root for added lift and curl.
However, the Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara is their newest mascara that’s set to dethrone their Troublemaker mascara, and I for one, am very excited about this new launch.
Aqua / water / eau, paraffin, potassium cetyl phosphate, cera alba / beeswax / cire dabeille, copernicia cerifera cera / carnauba wax / cire de carnauba, acacia senegal gum, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, hydroxyethylcellulose , peg / ppg-17/18 dimethicone, steareth-20, phenethyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, sodium polymethacrylate
The Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara has a lime green coloured tube, with purple writing, and the wand itself is a bright lime green colour too. I have never seen a mascara design like this before, it really does look amazing.
When it comes to mascara, it’s rare to find something that’s new and hasn’t been seen before. The last time something so new and innovative happened with mascara was the Avon weird paintbrush-like mascara, which really wasn’t very effective.
However, the Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara looks so much more impressive and promising, and I just can’t wait to get my hands on it, as I’m dying to see how effective it is.
I am loving the shape of the wand, as it looks so innovative to the typical mascara wand we see everywhere. It is a synthetic bristle mascara, with a twist design.
The fantastically weird spiky venus fly trap looking brush gives me Benefit Rollerlash vibes (which is my favourite mascara), and there’s a section with no bristles which I feel is somewhere you can press into the base of your lashes for extra lift.
If you love the look of this very unique, and kinda strange looking mascara, you can snap it up right here.
