The Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eyeshadow Primer has had a major reformulation and makeover for 2022, which is very exciting. I have lost count how many times I’ve repurchased the original Too Faced Shadow Insurance over the years.
It’s such an iconic beauty product, and not only has the formula been improved, but the primer packaging has too. Keep on reading to find out more…
“Formulated with a blend of skin-loving ingredients– plus an easy-blend doe-foot wand, this translucent eye shadow primer glides on weightlessly, helps protect against blue light damage and environmental stressors, and fights breakthrough oil to help keep shadows smooth, waterproof and long-lasting.“
The Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eyeshadow Primer is the bestselling eyeshadow primer, and it has been upgraded with a new and improved formula, designed to intensify colour, and to help lock down your eyeshadow for twenty four hours plus, of non-creasing, fade-resistant wear.
- Apply a pea-size amount on the eyelid using the doe foot applicator.
- Then, blend using a clean fingertip or a flat shadow brush from lash line up to the brow bone.
- Allow for primer to dry, then blend shadow effortlessly on top.
- Tip: To help eliminate smudging on the lower lash line, apply a small amount of primer using a clean fingertip or a flat shadow brush, then follow with eyeshadow, eyeliners, and mascara, if desired.
The Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eyeshadow Primer has been packaged within a sky blue plastic, squeezy tube for as long as I can remember, with the upgraded formula, the packaging has also been improved too.
Now the primer comes in a sky blue tube, with a doefoot applicator within the lid, which is interesting as that’s how the Urban Decay Primer Potion used to be packaged at least 15 years ago.
The doefoot is designed to be applied directly to the lid, and the colour looks a little whiter than the original, which had more of a beige colour, and the brand new formula is available right now.
