Ever since Too Faced launched their Hangover Primer, it’s been a massive success. So much so, they followed up with the Hangover 3 in 1 Setting Spray.
Both of those launches were a success, so they’ve decided to go even further, and create a whole Too Faced Hangover Skincare collection including the Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm.
Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm
The Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm is described as being an ultra hydrating and nourishing lip treatment, infused with mineral-rich stardust.
With a luxuriously rich and creamy balm formula, infused with an ultra charged blend of minerals sourced from “real falling stars” and nourishing complex of fruit oils, conditioning butters, coconut water and plumping hyaluronic acid for a pillowy soft, ultra hydrated replenished lips.
- Rich, cushiony texture glides over lips comfortably
- Replenishes lips with intense hydration
- Creates a moisturizing barrier that helps keep lips from drying out
- Lips feel smooth, soft, and appear plump with moisture
- Leaves a healthy-looking sheen on lips
The Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm is £18 and contains 6.5ml inside a clear plastic tube, with a white lid. The balm inside the tube is a pastel pink colour, and the tube has a doefoot applicator for even application.
From photos, I have seen online, the balm gives a subtle milky pink hue to the lips and looks quite similar to the DIOR Lip Maximiser.
I’m not entirely convinced by the ‘fallen star’ minerals inside the balm, but as far as hydrating lip treatments go, it does sounds really nice.
£18 does feel quite pricey for a lip treatment, especially when the DIOR Lip Maximiser is £28, but it is already discounted to £12 on the Too Faced website, so I don’t know if it’ll be discounted once it reaches Debenhams.
