Too Faced has launched their latest mini tin style palette, and it’s the Too Faced Forbidden Fruitcake Eyeshadow Palette. There’s lots of Too Faced launches coming our way in the next couple of weeks, as they launch their holiday collection, and this palette is in the same format as the four mini palettes they launched back in December, such as the Kitty Likes To Scratch Palette.
“Too Faced took the classic Christmas treat with the bad rep everybody loafs to hate and turned it into the Forbidden Fruitcake Mini Eye Shadow Palette of your Yuletide dreams with rich, warm, delectable shades and pops of sweet color nobody can resist!“
Whilst the Too Faced Forbidden Fruitcake Eyeshadow Palette doesn’t look particularly festive, it is a limited edition palette which is part of the Too Faced 2021 holiday collection. Described as being a mini 8-well eye shadow palette, full of warm and cozy shades, inspired by the classic holiday treat.
Just like the other mini tin palettes, this new palette features eight powder shadows inside a beautiful tin-style packaging, with a raised fruitcake design on the lid.
The outer design doesn’t really wow me, or get me interested in the palette, but once you look inside the palette, the shades are a lot more interesting, with a mixture of finishes.
Inside the Too Faced Forbidden Fruitcake Eyeshadow Palette, you get the following shades;
- Wanna Piece of Me? (banana cream matte)
- Rum For The Hills (dark caramel matte)
- Candied Pineapple (antique gold w/ rose gold glitter shimmer)
- Haters Gunna Cake (chocolate brown matte)
- Frosty Buns (ballet pink shimmer)
- Cherry (burgundy matte)
- Nobody Loafs Me (light tan metallic)
- Forbidden Fruitcake (medium brown with shifting emerald green glitter metallic)
When I first saw this palette on social media, I wasn’t instantly drawn to it. However, the more I look at it, the more I like it, and the duochrome shade in the bottom right-hand corner looks amazing.
The shades do kinda give me fruit cake vibes, apart from the duochrome shade, and I hope the palette smells like fruit cake, as that would be so cute, and the Too Faced Forbidden Fruitcake Eyeshadow Palette is available right now.
