Each of the four Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up the Light Palettes contain three different shades of baked powder. The powders are individually named, and the same across all four shade options, and are designed to give a different look when used individually or blended together;
GLOW – to add an ethereal luminosity and strobing radiance
SOFT FOCUS – to create a candlelit effect for a blurred perfected finish
DAZZLE – to create a party ready sparkling spotlight finish
The Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up the Light Palettes are £34 each, and contain 8g of product working out at 2.66g per powder. The palette is an oval shape, with a black lid and gold base, as well as a mirror inside the lid.
The three powders inside the palette are designed to give a different finish to the skin, so you can get a really subtle glow, a slightly more intense candlelit effect or a sparkly finish.
The concept of having the three domed powders within the Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up the Light Palettes, really reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palettes especially with the candlelit effect.
For £34, I think the Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up the Light Palettes are actually really well prices as you’re getting three different highlighters in really nice packaging, and I love that they’ve created multiple shade palettes, so they’re suitable for a wider range of people rather than just doing one suit all palette like Hourglass originally did.
