There’s an exciting new launch from The Inkey List, and it’s The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub. The Inkey List launched their haircare collection last year, and it’s been a massively popular range for the brand, and this latest addition follows up from the super popular The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment.
The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub
“A gentle exfoliating scrub formulated with both chemical and physical exfoliators to help remove product buildup and dead cells and leave hair looking healthy. This unique formulation also helps to protect and balance the scalp’s microbiome and keep the hair follicles clean.“
Excess of build up can disrupt the healthy function of the hair follicle, and removing that build up can encourage normal growth and roots to lift-up. It’s said to be good for all hair types, and all scalp types, and works to remove any product build-up on the scalp, and helps to leave the hair looking healthy.
- 7% Glycolic Acid: Gently exfoliates the scalp to remove dead skin and product buildup.
- 2.5% Symcontrol ® Scalp*: Based on a microalgae from the Mediterranean Sea. It is an effective scalp sebum regulator, reducing sebum overproduction for less oily hair that also protects the hair fiber.
- 2% Castor beads: Gives an elevated instant physical exfoliation experience, made from hydrogenated castor oil. 100% biodegradable.
- 0.5% Bioecolia ® **: Helps protect, balance and maintain the skin’s Ecoflora, creating the ideal scalp microbiome.
To use The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub, the brand recommends using it as a pre-shampoo treatment by shaking the bottle, and using the nozzle to apply the liquid to the scalp, and rub it in with your fingertips. It can be applied to both wet or dry scalps, and needs to be left on for 10 minutes, before washing your hair as normal.
This new The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Scrub, can be used one to two times a week. I really like the salicylic acid based scalp treatment, so I’m excited to try this scalp scrub, to see how it compares, and it’s available right here.
