Everyone raves about the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, but I always find it to be a little too drying, so their newest concealer launch; the Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer sounds ideal for those of us with drier skin.
The Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer launched at QVC, and is also available via Sephora and also Tarte directly if you’d like to find out more about this newest Tarte base launch, keep on reading…
Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer
The Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer is $24 and available in 30 different shades via QVC. It’s going to launch at Tarte and Sephora from the middle of May, but until now it’s a QVC exclusive.
Tarte have had a lot of negativity online concerning their shade ranges, as they’ve launched foundations in the past that have had a very small shade range.
Due to the past backlash, the Tarte shade ranges have been a lot more inclusive and the shade range for the Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer has a really fantastic range of tones.
The shades have numbers, and also a shade name too with the lightest shade being Porcelain Sand, and the deepest Espresso.

The formula is described as having medium coverage, and will help you achieve the appearance of a natural looking and fresh finish that effortlessly covers the look of imperfections, brightens appearance of under-eye darkness and hydrates too.
Featuring hydroflex technology that allows the formula to move with your skin so you can feel free to be yourself without worrying about touching up.
It’s an oil-free, fragrance-free, sweatproof, and waterproof concealer which helps to cover the appearance of redness, dark circles, dark spots, and blemishes while brightening and hydrating under eye area.
Directions
Swipe on formula using the precision plush applicator under the eyes, onto dark spots, redness, and blemishes, then blend out with the hydrocealer sponge (not included).
The Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer is packaged within a clear plastic tube, with a mint coloured lid featuring a doefoot applicator.
At the same time Tarte launched this concealer, they also launched a matching beauty sponge called the Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Blending Sponge which is $16 and is a mint colour like the lid of the concealer.
I always found the original Shape Tape to be a little thick and drying for my skin, but I really liked how good the coverage was.
So this Tarte SEA Hydrocealer Concealer sounds like the perfect alternative which combines good coverage with a more hydrating formula which sounds ideal for the drier, less forgiving under-eye area.
