The Tarte Rainforest Temptations Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette has launched alongside the Tarte Secrets From The Amazon Brush Set and the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Gloss, as part of a snake themed collection.
I’ve already shared the three-piece makeup brush set with you, with each of the three brushes featuring gold metal snakes wrapped around the handles, and the snake theme is carried through to this eye and cheek palette.

The Tarte Rainforest Temptations Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette is $39, and the palette is designed like the brand’s Rainforest Of The Sea Palettes, with a cheek colour in the centre, and eyeshadows surrounding the cheek shade.
Each of the Rainforest Of The Sea palettes had eight eyeshadows around the outside, whereas the Tarte Rainforest Temptations Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette features twelve eyeshadows, in slightly smaller pans, allowing for more shades.
Tarte describes the Tarte Rainforest Temptations Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette as featuring 12 everyday, warm-toned matte, shimmer and sheen shadows, with Amazonian Clay.
Each of the shades is said to have a multi-tasking formula that does the work of a primer and an eyeshadow, delivering rich colour that’s never dry or flaky.
Tarte describes the blusher in the centre of the palette as being a universally flattering blush in rosy pink for a juicy flush, with nutrient-rich Amazonian clay which absorbs excess oil for looks that last.
Inside the Tarte Rainforest Temptations Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette, there are the following shades;

I actually really like the look of this palette. It’s been a while since I bought a Tarte eyeshadow palette, but I like the shades in this palette, and the blush shade looks really pretty; it’s definitely my favourite product from the three-piece collection.
The outside of the white compact features a gold foil snake design on the lid, as well as there being a raised snake pattern on the blusher in the centre of the palette. I’m not really in to the whole snake vibe, but the shades are nice, and it’s available right now.
