Tarte Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette | Holiday 2022

Tarte unveiled their Christmas collection this week, and the Tarte Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette is one of the most exciting products within the collection.

Tarte always used to launch a Blush Wheel Palette in their holiday collections (I own two myself from past collections – my review of the 2016 palette is here), and then ditched the palettes a few years ago. Instead, they opted for little blush stacks, but it looks like they’re back with a proper blush palette for their holiday 2022 collection.

Tarte Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette | Holiday 2022

The Tarte Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette is $39, and claims to have a value of $90. This palette is housed within a rose gold, chrome compact, with a red, raised and faceted design on the lid.

Inside this palette, you’ll find five powder blushers, as well as the bestselling Tarte Park Ave Princess Powder Bronzer. Usually with the holiday palettes, they’re all blush, so it’s nice to see they’ve included the bronzer within the palette this time.

Inside the Tarte Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette, you’ll find the following shades;

  • Polished (matte peach)
  • Refined (matte pink)
  • Facet (matte berry)
  • Gemstone (luminous peachy pink)
  • Luxe (matte rose)
  • Park Ave Princess (glow bronzer)

Within the palette, you’re getting four matte blushers, one shimmery blusher, and a radiant bronzer. I am super happy to see more matte blushers than shimmer blushers within this palette, as Tarte’s ‘shimmery’ blushers tend to be glittery rather than shimmery.

I really like the mix of pink and peach tones, and you can mix all of the blushers with the bronzer, to deepen the shade, or mix the shades together to create a custom blush shade. I love these Tarte palettes, and hope to pick up this palette in the coming weeks, and it’s available right now.
