Sorry for all of the Tarte posts, but they’ve launched so many exciting products, and the Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette is the latest addition to their makeup range.
I’m a really big fan of Tarte’s eyeshadow formulas, and the Tarteist Palette is one of my most used palettes in my collection, so I’m always intrigued whenever another palette joins their collection.

Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette
As soon as I saw the Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette, it instantly gave me Natasha Denona 5 Eyeshadow Palette vibes, and ColourPop recently created something similar themselves with their five pan Valentine’s Day palettes.
Brands are definitely trying to tap into the mini, travel-friendly palette format, and the Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette is the smallest palette we’ve seen from Tarte, which isn’t as part of a holiday set.
The Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette features six powder shadows within a peach coloured plastic palette, with a clear lid.
There’s only one palette available, but I imagine Tarte will launch more palettes going forward in this format, just like Natasha Denona and ColourPop. It’d be amazing to see some cool toned palettes, as Tarte tends to love a warm palette.
Described as being a powerful pigment-packed shadow in a pocket-sized palette, with the following benefits;
- everyday essential shades in full-size pans
- 6 flattering matte & shimmer shades for lid & lashline
- infused with Amazonian clay to lock down your look
- mineral pigments ensure buttery-smooth application
- Smells like coconut!
The shades within the Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette include;
- Excel
- Driven
- Dare
- Aspire
- Build
- Rise
SKINVIGORATING™ INGREDIENTS
- Amazonian clay: delivers better, longer, truer wear
- mineral pigments: soothe & soften lids
There appears to be a good mix of matte and shimmer shades, and it’s the perfect palette for creating a multitude of neutral makeup looks.
I like that they included a deep shade in the mix too, which would work well as a liner, and maybe even a brow powder for some people too. It’s on sale for only £19 / $19 which is a great price for Tarte’s eyeshadows, and is available right here.
