Tarte has launched a beautiful new eyeshadow palette; the Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe. The Maneater collection is a little vampier than their main range’s products, and this palette has the same format as their Lid, Laugh, Love Amazonian Eyeshadow Wardrobe Palettes, which I love.
Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe
The original Lid, Laugh, Love Amazonian Eyeshadow Wardrobe Palettes feature white packaging, and there’s two palettes (Dream and Happiness), and I own them both, with reviews coming very soon. I love that the Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe has black packaging, as it does look edgier compared to the white versions of the original palettes.
These palettes are pretty chic, as they’re stacks, with three palettes in one and a mirror. They slide apart allowing you to each of the three palettes individually, or shades from each of the three mini palettes.
I was really surprised by how big the palettes actually are, and the pans are a decent size, and I cannot wait to order the Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe next time Tarte are having an international shipping deal again.
The Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe has been designed to give you three different makeup looks in one;
- stack 1: bronzy neutral shades
- stack 2: warm sun-kissed shades
- stack 3: sensual smokey shades
I love that idea! With the other two stacks, one is cool toned and one is warm toned. So all twelve shades in each stack are either cool toned or warm toned, whereas this palette has three different colour stories in one, with the same mix of mattes, metallics and shimmers all in one.
This latest eyeshadow stack is priced at $39 / £38 each, but each shadow contains 1.1g of product, giving you 13.2g of shadow so whilst the stacks look small, they’re actually pretty sizeable palettes, and if the formula of the Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe is anything like the original Lid, Laugh, Love Eyeshadow Wardrobes, they’ll be amazing.

The Tarte Maneater Temptation Eyeshadow Wardrobe is such a beautiful palette, and I love that each of the stacks have a different colour story, and they give you a whole makeup look on each of the three stacks, taking away the guess work if you sometimes feel uninspired by a whole regular palette of shades.
