Tarte launched two new products today; the Tarte Maneater Plump & Prowl Lip Plumper, and the Tarte Confessions of a Maneater Eye & Cheek Palette.
Both of the two new launches are part of their evergrowing Maneater collection, and they’re both available at ULTA and Tarte right now.
Tarte Maneater Plump & Prowl Lip Plumper
The Tarte Maneater Plump & Prowl Lip Plumper is $19 and is described as being a clear lip-plumping gloss that glides on and makes lips appear more voluptuous while delivering healthy-looking, high-shine.
This new lip plumping gloss features a volu-plump complex that is supposed to go to work on contact with the lips to help plump the appearance of the lips with a comfortable feel.
Described as having an ultra-comfortable, never-sticky gloss formula with a jumbo doefoot applicator to apply the gloss quickly yet precisely.
To complement the new Maneater Palette, the tube is clear but the lid is black with gold leopard print which looks so cute.
Key Ingredients
- Benzyl nicotinate: enhances blood circulation to help plump lips
- Lactic acid: smooths appearance
Ingredients
Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate, Octyldodecanol, Vp/Hexadecene Copolymer, Menthone Glycerin Acetal, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Trimethylolpropane Triisostearate, Benzyl Nicotinate, Polyurethane-79, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Isostearic Acid, Lactic Acid, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Tocopherol.
In all honesty, the new Tarte Maneater Plump & Prowl Lip Plumper isn’t terribly unique. It’s essentially a clear lip gloss with plumping action and it does look pretty on the lips in this swatch photo.
If you don’t already own a clear lip plumping gloss, this new Maneater gloss might be worth a try, but if you do already own a clear gloss that helps plump the lips, then perhaps you won’t need the Tarte Maneater Plump & Prowl Lip Plumper in your life.
