Tarte have announced their latest launch, and it’s not a brand new product! The Tarte Cheek Stains were the first product the brand launches back in 1999, and they’re bringing them back with a new and improved formula.
When Tarte announced the return of their cream cheek stains, there was a lot of buzz on social media, with long time fans of the brand being delighted that the product is returning…
“The stain that started it all in ‘99 is coming back (for a limited time) & better than ever! 💕
cheek stain, our vegan, water-based stick that delivers a natural flush is coming back by popular demand.“
The Tarte Cheek Stains are returning in three shades to celebrate 20+ years of Tarte, but with a new and improved formulation. We know the shade names of the three returning cheek stain sticks;
- vegan blush stick for brush-free application
- straight-to-cheek applicator delivers a natural flush of color with a watercolor finish
- made with up to 36% water for weightless wear
- buildable, cream-gel formula blends seamlessly
- t5 super fruit complex™ antioxidant blend nourishes
- 3 universally flattering shades
- subtle fresh & fruity scent
We have Exposed which is a shimmery nude, Tipsy is a shimmery peach and Flush is a deep berry.
Just like their old design, the new version of the Tarte Cheek Stains are a chunky, twist-up cream stick which can be applied directly on to the cheeks, and blended out.
They can even be dapped on to the lips for a hint of colour. Tarte hasn’t revealed any specific claims on the new formula, but as soon as more information is shared, I’ll be sure to update this post…
