Tarte has launched yet another eyeliner duo product, and this time it’s for their Awake sister brand. The Tarte Awake ModernEYES Shadow Smudge & Liners are a collection of dual-ended eyeliners, with one end housing a retractable eyeliner, and the other is a smudge and go powder eyeshadow.
Tarte Awake ModernEYES Shadow Smudge & Liners
“Get bigger, brighter, and more defined eyes with the 2-in-1 tarte modernEYES Shadow Smudge & Liner. The shadow side features a micro-sponge tip that creates the look of a softly smudged shadow line with ease, no steady hand needed.“
The Tarte ModernEYES Shadow Smudge & Liners are currently a QVC exclusive, where they’re available in duo sets, with two different duos within each set. Each of the duo sets is $35, or available with a 4 Easy Pays of $8.75 option.
You can choose to purchase the Black / Bronze duo set, or you can purchase the Black / Brown duo set, and within each set, you’re getting the retractable eyeliner on one side for lining the eyes. Then the opposite site is a sponge tip applicator coated in powder shadows, so you can smudge the shadow along your lash lines.

The duo sets include the following shades;
- Black / Brown Set: Black + Champagne Duo & Brown + Aubergine Duo
- Black / Bronze Set: Black + Champagne Duo & Bronze + Tan Duo
Looking at the swatches, the liners are all very pigmented. The shadows look pretty, with a shimmer finish, and it’s handy to have both the liner and shadow within the same duo, so you can line and smudge in a matter of seconds, for a quick and easy makeup look, and they’re available right now.
