Tarte has launched a brand new complexion product, and it’s the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation.
Tarte kicked off 2022, with lots of new launches, and they had slowed down a little over the last couple of months, apart from last week’s new Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara launch.
This latest launch is a new addition to their award-winning Amazonian Clay collection, and it’s always exciting whenever Tarte unveil a new complexion launch to their range…

What Is The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation?
The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation is the powder version of the Tarte Amazonian Clay 16-Hour Full Coverage Concealer. It’s marketed as offering buildable coverage, with a natural matte – not flat, finish. With optical blurring powders providing an airbrushed look of fine lines, pores and imperfections for a beauty filter effect, in real life.
This powder foundation features a hyaluronic acid complex, which is designed to help the skin retain moisture, for a brighter and more plump appearance. With a wear-time of up to 16 hours, with a claim that it won’t cake, flake or settle into fine lines. Nor will it have flashback in photos.
The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation formula features Amazonian Clay, which absorbs shine, for a shine-free look. Whilst also being talc-free, and finely milled for a smooth, light-as-air-feel on the skin.
- Amazonian clay: nature’s most perfect ingredient for better, longer, truer wear
- hyaluronic acid: intensely hydrates
- vitamin E: natural preservative that also acts as an anti-inflammatory emollient & antioxidant
- bark extract: anti-inflammatory
- castor seed oil: hydrates & smooths while reducing appearance of fine lines
The Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation is available from QVC as a bundle deal alongside the Tarte Angled Blur Brush for $39. If you were to purchase both items individually, it’d cost $63, so you’re making a great saving when purchasing them as a set via QVC.
If you don’t want to purchase them from the QVC website, they’re already up on the Tarte website, where you can purchase the foundation alone. Plus, the Tarte website features a lot more information about the products, and shades too.
There are 21 shades of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation to choose from, and the foundation is housed within a stunning rose gold domed compact. The lid of the compact has a pretty iridescent effect, and the compact contains a free, blending sponge for touch-ups on-the-go.
