Sugarpill have announced the launch of the Sugarpill Capsule Collection Pink Edition Eyeshadow Palette, which initially was only available to Sugarpill subscribers with a full retail launch coming at a later date but it’s now available. I think it’s fab that they only made the palette available to those that are existing subscribers, as they’re rewarding them for their loyalty.
They know that only their diehard fans will be able to get their hands on the palette, and it’s a shame more brands don’t do the same. Although there are people already trying to sell the palette for an extortionate price on eBay, but that’s the same with any launch.

How pretty are these Sugarpill Capsule Collection Pink Edition Eyeshadow Palette swatches? I love that the palette includes mostly eyeshadow shades, but with one wearable blush thrown in for good measure. Now the palette has been designed to resemble a ‘pill’ and that’s created some controversy on Instagram. Some are berating Sugarpill for making a capsule/pill shaped palette, but it’s not for a sinister reason, they’re called Sugarpill after all.
They are not normalising drugs by creating a pill shaped eyeshadow palette, but it’s obviously down to personal choice. I like the design of the palette, as it’s different and kitsch which is exactly what the brand is all about, with every single one of their launches. The colours are all very bright, with a mixture of matte and shimmer shades.
I also like the layout of the shades, as they have almost a molecular design and there’s a mirror inside the lid too. There is currently no launch date for the Sugarpill Capsule Collection Pink Edition Eyeshadow Palette, apart from it being “soon” and the fact the palette is called ‘Pink Edition’ makes me think there’s more pill-like palettes on the way.
