Stila All About The Blur Blurring & Smoothing Primer
“All About the Blur Blurring & Smoothing Primer preps and primes for a smoother-looking, soft-focus effect on your skin. Infused with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, and a skin-nurturing Skin Blurring Complex, the primer blurs imperfections, helps minimize the look of pores, and diffuses the appearance of fine lines, while hydrating and nourishing the skin and prolonging the wear of makeup.“
The Stila All About The Blur Blurring & Smoothing Primer is $36 for 1.0 fl oz / 30ml of product, and the primer is housed within a beige, squeezy plastic tube, with a rose gold pump.
Stila describes the makeup primer as working as a prep and prime step, to give you a soft-focus effect to the skin. The formula is infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, and claims to blur imperfections, minimized the appearance of pores, diffuses the appearance of fine lines, and works to hydrate and nourish the skin.
Apply to clean skin, starting at the center, and blend out with your fingertips or a firm brush. Use to prep skin before make-up, or on top of makeup for on-the-go touch-ups. Wear alone for a soft-focus, natural look.
Stila All About The Blur Blurring & Smoothing Primer is marketed as being a translucent makeup / skincare hybrid, to give you a veil-like finish, giving you a smooth, picture-perfect canvas for your makeup.
- Agave Tequilana leaf extracts to soothe and smooth skin, helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
- Hyaluronic Acid – a skin conditioner that hydrates skin.
- Niacinamide – a form of B-3 vitamin that improves skin appearance and overall health and texture.
This new Stila All About The Blur primer will help prolong the wear time of your makeup, whilst enhancing the skin’s natural look. It’s also long-lasting, sweat-proof and transfer-proof too.
In the above photo, you can see the image hasn’t been retouched, as you can see the model’s natural skin texture, and the ‘after’ side looks amazingly smooth and perfected compared to the ‘before’ side of the photo.
If you have oily skin, or like your primer to help combat shine, it looks like the other new Stila Primer; the All About The Blur Stick Primer, would be a better choice, as it’s designed to improve skin texture and control shine, while giving skin a smooth overall appearance. If you’d like to check out the two new Stila makeup primers, they’re available right now.
