Spectrum Collections have revealed their newest collection which is launching this week. Let me introduce you to the Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Collection, which follows their very recent Cruella De Vil collection which only launched the other week and was an instant sell out. If you’d like to know more about this new collaboration, keep on reading…
Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Collection
The Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Collection is set to launch on the Spectrum website on Thursday the 9th of July at 8am BST. It’s a limited edition collection which is inspired by Frida’s creativity and self-expression.
“The concept behind the collection is that we are each our own muse, in ourselves we should see beauty unrestrained by the pursuit of perfection. In fact, we should celebrate what makes us unique and aim to be a ‘little more Frida’.” – Spectrum Collections
The Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Collection includes the following products;
- Spectrum x Frida Kahlo 7 Piece Brush Set
- Spectrum x Frida Kahlo 2 Piece Sponge Set
- Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Kabuki Brush
- Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Makeup Bag
I love the bright blue wooden handles on the brushes, which is teamed up with golden ferrules that feature a cute illustration of Frida’s iconic bold brows and bold lip look. The bristles are also a bright blue colour to complement the colour of the handles.
The sponge set includes two beauty sponges in blue and pink, and the makeup bag has a wicker effect with an amazing embroidered Frida Kahlo design with a pretty floral headdress.
My favourite product in the Spectrum x Frida Kahlo Collection has to be the Kabuki Brush, with a retractable gold metal design. There’s the same Frida illustration on the casing to match that on the ferrules of the brushes, and the bristles have a lovely black and pink faded design. If you love the look of this new collection, it’ll be available right here.
