Spectrum Collections launched two mystery boxes; the Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box and the Spectrum Collections Crystal Eyes Mystery Box. I’ve already shared an unboxing of the Eyes Mystery Box right here, and today I have the Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box to show you.
*You can find my Spectrum Collections Crystal Eyes Mystery Box unboxing right here*
Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box
The two mystery boxes are £34.99 each, and they’re guaranteed to include at least £100 worth of value, so I decided to buy them both to show you what’s inside.
I love Spectrum Collections makeup brushes, so I was excited to get my hands on these mystery boxes, especially as they’re described as featuring a mix of their brushes and makeup, with at least ten products in each box.
The Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box comes in a blush pink cardboard box, with different crystals and gemstones all over the box.
It looks so luxe, and is filled to the top with Spectrum products. Let’s get on to which products are included within my box…
The first product in my Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box is the Spectrum Collections C00 Rain Glow Fan Brush which is worth £19.99. This specific brush was also in their Eye Mystery Box which was strange as it’s a face, brush, but it’s perfect for a face themed box.
It looks like this brush was discontinued in 2018, so you can’t buy it any more, but it’s a large fan brush with a pastel blue wooden handle, a silver chrome ferrule, and rainbow coloured bristles.
Next in the Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box is another face brush, and it’s the Spectrum Collections B01 Flat Top Buffer Brush worth £9. This is another brush which was in the Eyes box which made no sense, but it obviously does for this face box.
It has a pastel pink wooden handle, rose gold chrome ferrule and pink bristled with a flat top design for buffing in foundation and concealer.
Then we have the Spectrum Collections Contour & Glow 3 Piece Set, which is from the brand’s Marbelous Collection and is worth £19.99. It’s a really lovely set, with a rounded buffer brush, a tulip shaped highlighter brush and a small domed concealer brush.
The next product in the Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box is the Spectrum Collections BO6 Tall Tapered Blender Brush worth £5.99, and is a fluffy blending brush with a blush pink wooden handle, rose gold ferrule and pink duo-tone bristles.
Then we have the Spectrum Collections A01 Domed Powder Brush worth £9.99, which is another brush which was in the eye box, but the colour is different. It was green in the eyes box, and this box features a pink version, with a blush pink wooden handle, rose gold ferrule and pink bristles.
The Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box contains one makeup product, and it’s the Spectrum Collections Zodiac Lipstick in the shade Jupiter, worth £13.
This is such a chic lipstick casing, with clear acrylic and gold foil stars all over. I’ve never tried any of the Spectrum makeup before, so I’m excited to try this lipstick.
The final product within the box is the Spectrum Collections Oceana 4 Piece Face Brush Set worth £29.99. You get a iridescent pouch, with four full sized face brushes.
The brushes have clear iridescent handles, silver ferrules and teal bristles. They look amazing, and the eye box contained the Oceana Eye Brush Set, so it’s nice you get both with the two mystery boxes.
I feel a lot more positive about the Spectrum Collections Crystal Face Mystery Box, than I do the Eyes Box. In terms of value for money, it absolutely delivers as the combined value is £107.95, so it does contain the £100 as promised.
This is a face themed box, and it contains a lipstick and an eyeshadow brush, which are obviously not face items. The eye box contains more face brushes than eye brushes, so this box was a lot better, and I’m happy with the items I received.
