Soap & Glory have launched two new lip treatments this week with the Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Sugar Melting Exfoliating Balm and the Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Ultra Smoothing Oil.
It looks as if the Treat My Lips is going to be a collection, and it’ll be interesting to see which other lip products will launch in the range, available right here.
Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Sugar Melting Exfoliating Balm
Currently the Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Sugar Melting Exfoliating Balm and the Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Ultra Smoothing Oil are both an ULTA exclusive, but I’d expect them to launch at Boots very soon too.
The Treat My Lips Sugar Melting Exfoliating Balm is $9.99 and is a gentle exfoliator, with shea butter, vitamin E and fine sugar crystals, dissolves into a lip balm to help improve lip texture day after day.
Key Ingredients
- Vitamin E: A skin-conditioning agent and antioxidant with high biological efficacy in terms of cell protection, anti-aging and moisturizing.
- Shea butter: A natural source of phytosterols and tocopherols that softens, moisturizes and protects skin from harsh elements.
- Fine sugar crystals: Gently exfoliates with fine sugar crystals that dissolve and leave behind a smooth balm on lips.
Directions
Swipe on and gently massage onto lips and press lips together until the sugar crystals completely dissolve leaving balmy finish. To follow apply your favourite lip oil or lip gloss.
The Soap & Glory Treat My Lips Sugar Melting Exfoliating Balm looks to be a clear balm with a slightly gritty consistency due to the sugar particles which are designed to slough away dead skin cells from the lips.
I think it’s interesting that you don’t have to wipe away the sugary balm from the lips, as the sugar crystals are said to ‘dissolve’. I don’t know if it would leave behind a textured finish on the lips, but it sounds like a great, affordable lip treatment.
