The Smashbox Always On Cream to Matte Lipstick packaging looks super sleek, with a black casing with an angled lid and the lipstick bullet inside has a curved tip to hug the contours of your lips during application.
Smashbox make great lip products, so this new range is bound to be another hit. They recommend using the contour tip to line the outside of your lips, before filling in with the rest of the bullet.
Smashbox have created some shades of their liquid lipstick formula in this new bullet formula which is great if you already know and love a Smashbox shade, but would just prefer a cream to matte finish.
There are only 15 shades in the Smashbox Always On Cream to Matte Lipstick formula, and there’s 50 in the liquid lipstick formula, so perhaps they’ll choose to extend the range if it proves to be a hit for their customers.
The Smashbox Always On Cream to Matte Lipstick shades all look opaque, and packing a punch in terms of pigmentation. Offering 12 hour wear that won’t cake, fade, flake, bleed, smudge or feather – some seriously bold claims there Smashbox. The formula applies as a cream, but transforms into a longwearing matte finish on contact on the lips.
The lipstick collection are available to purchase right now, through the Smashbox website. There are some really pretty shades in the collection, and our favourites would have to be the Here for It, Not Today, Just Barely and Promoted, but they all look super pretty, with a shade for everyone.
