Sigma is one of the best makeup brush brands, and I own and love lots of their brushes. When I saw that they’d launched the Sigma Rose Gold Glam Set, it instantly went on my wishlist as it contains two products I already own and use regularly within my makeup collection.
Sigma Rose Gold Glam Set
The Sigma Rose Gold Glam Set has been created to give us two of their bestselling products for perfect makeup application and perfect brush care. Inside the set, there’s their bestselling foundation brush, as well as their bestselling makeup brush cleaning mat in a special limited edition colour way.
The first of the two products within this limited edition set is a rose gold version of the iconic Sigma F80 Flat Buki Foundation Brush. This brush is one of my all-time favourites for foundation application, and was the original flat top kabuki brush that many brands have attempted to imitate over the years.
The Sigma F80 is an Allure Best of Beauty Award winner, and works perfectly for buffing your foundation in for a seamless finish.
For this Sigma Rose Gold Glam Set, Sigma have given it a rose gold makeover. It’s had a rose gold ferrule before, but this time it has a rose gold ferrule and rose gold handle, for the most glam edition with the same super soft, synthetic bristles.
The second product within the Sigma Rose Gold Glam Set, is the Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat which again has been given a rose gold makeover.
Usually speaking, their mat comes in either black or bright pink, but this metallic rose gold hue is so cute. I’ve never seen a metallic brush cleansing mat before.
If you’ve never tried the Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat before, it’s a silicone mat with suction pads on the base so it can stick to the bottom of almost any sink.
On the top of the mat there are different ‘sections’ which are for different functions, and they’re each clearly labelled.
For example, there’s a section for washing your eye brushes, rinsing your eye brushes and then refining your brushes to ensure the brushes keep their shape.
Many brands have created their own brush cleansing mat, but having tried both the original Sigma version and the imitations, the Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat really does come out on top.
