You know when you see a beauty product launch, and you instantly decide you have to have it? That happened for me with the Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette. It was very much a case of love at first sight, and I couldn’t wait for it to finally launch.
The Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette launched as part of the Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Extended Collection, which is a whole collection inspired by their bestselling, beautiful Cor de Rosa eyeshadow palette.
This extended collection featured the blush palette, but also a five piece makeup brush set, three lip glosses and one liquid lipstick, all of which are themed around the Cor de Rosa Palette.
The Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Eyeshadow Palette is a stunning peachy rose palette, with a warm toned colour story. It’s gorgeous, and I can see why it’s so popular, as the quality is amazing (my review is coming soon).
If you love warm tones, or peaches and golds, you’ll love the eyeshadow palette, plus the brand new Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette.
The Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette is a six pan blusher palette in cardboard packaging. Sigma already have a six pan blush palette, which is mostly pink toned, and this one is all about the peachy pink tones to complement the eye palette which originally launched last summer.
“Discover classic elegance with this limited-edition collection, inspired by our best-selling Aura Powder Blush, Cor-de-Rosa, meaning “color of the rose.”
Complete with everything from buttery soft makeup to award-winning brushes, you’ll create stunning looks that embody the beauty, love and joy of roses. “
I’ve been a fan of Sigma’s makeup range for at least six years now, and I’ve reviewed many of their makeup products on my second beauty blog over the years.
Sigma gets a lot of love for their brushes (and rightly so), but their makeup is pretty darn great too! I knew I’d love the formula of the Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette, as I loved their Wildflower Eye and Cheek Palette.
The Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette has beautiful peach and rose gold foil packaging, with a mirror inside the lid.
This palette features the following blush names, and shade descriptions;
- Coral Dawn – Fresh melon matte
- Pashmina – Salmon rose matte
- Nearly Wild – Pomegranate pink matte
- Señorita – Coral-peach metallic
- Cor-De-Rosa – Earthy, flushed neutral matte
- Bronze Star – Spiced coral metallic
The presentation of this palette is just beautiful, with the namesake Cor de Rosa blush shade having a raised rose design in the pan, which looks so pretty.
Peach and peachy pink blushers are my favourite colours to wear, so the shades within the Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette couldn’t be more perfect for me. I feel like the six shades in this palette are unique for being a peachy pink palette.
They have earthy undertones, and I love and appreciate that there’s four matte shades, and two shimmer shades. I, much prefer a matte blush, and being able to layer a shimmer shade over the top as a blush topper if I want a bit more glow to the cheeks.
Do I have these shades already in my collection? Possibly. However, the formula is fantastic, and they look so beautiful and natural on the skin.
My favourite shade in the Sigma Beauty Cor de Rosa Blush Palette would probably be Coral Dawn, but I love all six shades very much, and they also double up as the prettiest eyeshadows too.
