The 18 shades are inspired by the vibrant colors found in Japanese graphic art. Each color is named after an expressive sound, emotion, or action, expressed as onomatopoeia in the Japanese language. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist-tested.“
The Shiseido POP PowderGel Eye Shadow Collection is a brand new collection of 18 single shadows, which are said to utilise Hybrid Powder-Gel Technology which lends the unique eyeshadow a strong, yet elastic structure which also functions as a protective moisture barrier.
Its formula also features film-forming gel polymers for flexible texture and enhanced wear, whilst wakame extract, an antioxidant-rich Japanese sea algae that protects and smooths too.
All of the eighteen shades within the Shiseido POP PowderGel Eye Shadow Collection are inspired by the vibrant colours found in Japanese graphic art, and the shades are named after an expressive sound, emotion, or action, expressed as onomatopoeia in the Japanese language.
Each of the shadows is packaged within a black mono compact, with red accents and a mirror inside the lid. The packaging looks very sleek, and within the 18 shade range, there’s a mix of matte, shimmer and sparkle, with a shade for everyone from neutrals to bright pops of colour.

I also like that Shiseido have included swatches of all eighteen shades on three different skintones, and if you fancy finding out more about these beautiful shadows, they’re available right now.
