Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection Review / Swatches

I’ve been really impressed with Sample Beauty eyeshadows, so when the brand launched the Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection, I couldn’t wait to try them.

I have already reviewed the Sample Beauty Equalizer Palette II, and The Reign Palette, both of which feature super pigmented shades. Keep on scrolling to read my review…

Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection

Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection

The Sample Beauty Eyeshadow Palettes are so popular, the brand launched a whole range of individual eyeshadow pans, as well as some magnetic empty palettes. Allowing you to create your dream palette with the shades you love.

Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection

If you’ve never tried Sample Beauty before, their products are all very affordable, but the quality is genuinely amazing. There are 24 individual eyeshadows to choose from, and they’re £3.95 each.

Each of the shadows comes in little plastic sleeves, with a black cardboard sleeve featuring holographic writing on the packaging. They look pretty luxe for £4 eyeshadows, and the shadows are pressed into square, magnetic pans.

In addition to the Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection, Sample Beauty launched a range of empty, magnetic palettes. The palettes give me Inglot palette vibes, but more affordable.

I chose the Sample Beauty The 4 Pan Magnetic Palette which is just £7, and it holds four of the Sample Beauty individual eyeshadow pans. The lid can be lifted off, or slid open, and the magnets are seriously strong, so you know the lid isn’t going to come attached in your makeup bag.

Colour outside the lines with the Single Eyeshadows. It’s the same vegan, ultra-pigmented, super blendable formula you know and love, in a single eyeshadow compact for you to pair with the Empty Magnetic Palettes. Simply pick your favourite colours and snap into the empty palettes for a custom collection of shades.

It was the magnetic finish shadows which have impressed me the most from Sample Beauty, but their mattes really are fantastic too. So, I chose three of the shimmers and one matte shade from the Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection.

Look at these swatches of the Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow Collection, and tell me they don’t look like luxury eyeshadows? They are £3.95 eyeshadows, and they are super pigmented and amazing quality. I chose the shades;

  • Night Shift – A green-blue shimmer single eyeshadow.
  • Collector’s Item – A fine gold shimmer single eyeshadow.
  • Cobweb – A silver shimmer single eyeshadow.
  • Wholemeal – A light cool brown matte single eyeshadow.

Unfortunately, there’s only three shimmer shades in the 24-pan collection, which is such a shame. I need more shimmers, as these are incredible. I can’t believe how multidimensional the shimmers are.

They feel almost like they’re creams, and they’re best applied with your fingertips to ensure there’s no glitter fallout, and the Wholemeal shade works perfectly as a crease shade with the three shimmer shades.

They are such amazing shades, and I really hope they introduce more shimmers to the collection very soon, as they’re the best single shadows I’ve ever tried from MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills or Makeup Geek, and the Sample Beauty Single Eyeshadow shades are the cheapest too.
