Rimmel has launched a brand new makeup primer in their range. The Rimmel Multi-Tasker Grip Getter Serum-Infused Primer is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup primer with a serum-infused formula to give you makeup and skincare all-in-one. Keep on reading to find out how…
The Rimmel Multi-Tasker Grip Getter Serum-Infused Primer gives you all-day gripping power, while keeping your skin feeling comfortable.
It supposedly “adapts” to your skin with lotus flowers, which are known to control excess oil and hydrate the skin, giving you upto 24 hours of hydration.
The formula has a lightweight gel texture which you can use as a skin prep step before applying your makeup, or even use it as a moisturiser.
It is on sale for £7.99 for 30ml of product, in a bright red squeezy plastic tube with a silver lid. Once you unscrew the lid, there’s a nozzle on the bottle, and the clear serum-like primer squeezes out, allowing you to control how much or how little product you want.
Rimmel also claim that the formula features Vitamin C, and the formula won’t clog your pores. It is also “climate-proof”, but Rimmel haven’t really elaborated what that actually means?
Maybe it helps your makeup to stay in place in wind, rain and humidity, but that would be just a guess without actual claims on what climate-proof actually means for a makeup primer.
Rimmel Multi-Tasker Grip Getter Serum-Infused Primer is said to be suitable for all skin types, and it looks like this primer was potentially going to have a different name.
On some retailers, I can see it called the Rimmel Multi-Tasker Grip Getter Primer, but on a couple of retailers it is called the Rimmel Multi-Tasker Grippy Drops Makeup Primer, which is interesting.
The final name is the one on the tube; Grip Getter, and there’s also a matching Multi-Tasker Look Locker Setting Spray that has launched alongside this primer to fully lock in your makeup all day long.
