The Rimmel Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray has launched this week as part of the new Rimmel summer collection, and it’s actually a rebrand, rename and reformulation of an old setting spray of theirs.
In addition to this setting spray, Rimmel have also launched an amazing new concealer (review coming soon), some new bronzers and some highlighters too.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray
The Rimmel Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray was formerly known as the #Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray, which used to have a tan coloured label with a starburst design and pink writing.
I didn’t like that setting spray personally, but I have tried the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray (review coming soon) and the formulas are definitely different, so if you didn’t like the #Insta Fix & Go like myself, you might enjoy the reformulation more.
“Rimmel London offers a revolution with a 2 in 1 primer & setting spray. Apply it underneath or over the top of your makeup. It dries quickly and your makeup stays in place for up to 8 hours. One application is enough to get that perfect finish you deserve and extend the wear of makeup.
After applying makeup, hold the bottle 8 inches from your face, close eyes & spray in circular motions to cover the full face to help set makeup into place.
Use throughout the day to refresh your look and moisture face. Forget about smudges. Setting Spray for Rimmel London doesn’t set into fine lines leaving your face natural looking.
Avoid spraying into eyes. Apply before makeup to help prime the skin for a more durable effect. A must-have in every girl’s makeup bag of tricks”

I wish I still owned the original formula, so I could write a comparison post between the two, but the original formula has since been discontinued and is now replaced by the Rimmel Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray.
It’s marketed as being a primer spray and a setting spray all-in-one, with a lightweight, non-greasy formula which works to prep, set and refresh the skin. It’s now part of the Lasting Finish range, and is available right now.
