Today Revolution have launched their Christmas gifting 2020 collection, including some advent calendars, beauty gift sets and the Revolution You Are The Revolution PR Box. I have no doubt there will still be lots of launch as Revolution really go to town when it comes to their Christmas gift set collection.

Revolution You Are The Revolution PR Box
The Revolution You Are The Revolution PR Box is £80 and is described as the following;
“The perfect gift for the beauty guru in the making, contains 13 exclusive products, including one time exclusives“
The PR Box appears to come in a matte black cardboard box, covered in cute rose gold foil stars and the slogan they use everywhere; You Are The Revolution. I don’t know if this box is going to have an advent calendar theme, but it’s strange because the description says there’s 13 products inside, but there’s definitely more.
Inside the Revolution You Are The Revolution PR Box there are;
- 3 eye makeup brushes
- Mini black zip up pouch
- Setting spray
- Revolution Satin Kiss Lipsticks x 2 – one nude and one red shade
- Revolution Lip Glosses x 3 – clear shimmer, pink shimmer and a deep nude
- Eye primer
- Highlighters x 2
- Eyeshadow quads x 2
- Revolution Reloaded Eyeshadow Palettes x 2
- Contour and highlighter palette
I can count 18 products, so god knows who decided there were 13? It’ll be interesting to see if the products are individually wrapped in boxes like their advent calendars, or if the products are just loose within the black box.
It’s strange to me that this is being marketed as being a PR box. ColourPop sell their PR boxes, and they contain products you can buy separately, but none of the products in this box are items you can buy and nor are they items the brand has sent to their influencers?
So it’s a little bit weird, and £80 feels crazy expensive for what you’re getting inside. It might appeal to some, but you’d be better off buying products you actually want individually as it’s not an authentic PR box…
